I loving going in finding those hidden gems that you weren't expecting to find. Bathrooms are the only thing that l don't like. They could be kept cleaner. Usually all employees are pretty nice. Never had a bad experience with one there. They have some fair prices. Sometimes I might think something is a little high on price but that is usually when it is just something I can live without and helps me not spend crazy amounts money there. It is a great place to find a unique gift someone isn't going to get a 100 of the same item at there party. Great place for school shopping on a budget. Your kid won't be wearing all Walmart clothes like the rest of the school but spending about the same amount of money. Great place to get kids books. Great quality and a great gift for the book work on your list.

Marden's used to be known for getting a variety of factory second or discounted items at good prices. They sell more regular retail products now and some items that are complete junk. A good deal can be found but usually it takes an exhaustive search. My opinion.

Great salvage and surplus store. They usually have a good variety of items. Their prices used to be more reasonable, but in recent years it's harder to discover that great find with a great value. Still worth the trip to see what's new.

A great store to visit, but you have to watch prices as they tend to be equal or above local stores. It was a much better store when it was a salvage discount. Deals are far and few between today.

Well, mardens is a salvage store so that's what you get. Some boxes. May be crushed a bit. Some items are out dated but still usable... Like, soap. They have food, clothing,shoes, furniture, tools, + fabric. Etc. Reasonable to very cheap prices. Stores are usual clean but look run down. (Just what you expect for salvage). We shop there VERY often. And can easily drop 50-100$ on crazy bargains.
