I have done lots of business with Fortin's over the years and have found them to be nothing but exceptionally professional. I just had a washer and dryer delivered to my daughter's home and they were the utmost professionals. Perfectionism also is a wonderful way to describe their work as well as how kind and respectful they were throughout the process. In addition, Fortin's stands behind their service and products and will follow through on any concerns or issues that may arise. Lastly, I would recommend them highly and every possible way.

They are very happy to take your money but the after service and care is horrendous. I will tell you the nightmare experience that I just endured. Firstly I have been putting up with them since 1996 giving them years of loyalty and many thousands of dollars. I recently had beautiful Oak stares put in. When they arrived with the washing machine I instructed the delivery men to be careful of the stairs. They dropped the machine down every flight and when they hit the bottom then ripped up all the linoleum on the landing. $ 2600 dollars worth of damage. I almost cried. Hours of my time down the toilet. I had Fortins come out, then I had to gather all the information and insurance details, photos etc to submit. I had the original contractor come out and that was more time involved. Now I have to be home for 2 days while all the work is done to restore my home to the condition before they arrived. I asked Fortins for a discount on the washing machine for all the inconvenience. There response was no we paid you for the damage. If you were in a car crash would you get a discount ? I told them I would severe all ties after 21 years the manager and owner said OK. This washing machine cost me 3 days of my life in restoring my home. No accountability or service recovery was offered just a big middle finger. i have heard this story in the community over and over again. There you go if you step foot in this business they will take your money, If you have a problem they keep your money. They will hang onto every last penny rather than do the right thing. The owners response is atrocious, he mentioned if I was in an auto crash would I be compensated extra. Additionally I have to spend an hour of my time going to get the insurance forms notarized at a bank. You can see how little they care for customers. the customer is always wrong in their view. And ask your self the owners response is not believable, they did that much damage "placing the washer on the stairs"

They failed to make good on a job. Had too much removed from granite counter top, never called to tell us, then were more concerned about their costs to fix it than making it right. Never go back again.
