These five stars are most particularly for Brandon in the window coverings section. What a helpful polite young man! He took The time to really listen to a complete novice, I have never purchased blinds before, answered my questions and helped me come up with a solution for 10 windows sets. He also cut the blinds to the specifications right there and then. All done within fifteen minutes.. The whole transaction took about half an hour. I was amazed.I really thought I would have to land up ordering them online and paying a fortune, and having to pay extra for cutting them. But everything was handled brilliantly by Home Depot, and their excellent representative Brandon. So I thought I would take my time giving him a great review. I wish I could share a picture. They look fantastic up, ... chestnut faux wood, thicker sized blinds. They really make the white window frames and light trim pop!
We received excellent service at this Home Depot and then we didn't. We went to purchase a BBQ. They were out of the one we wanted but they said they could order one for us, assembled and delivered to our home. Then they changed the time over the phone, twice - fine. Then we started getting texts that our order was cancelled. Long story shorter - they were unable to deliver on their promise, and cancelled the order with no warning.
We just want to give a huge shout out to Josh who was working the customer return desk in Kalispell Montana. Our return was not an easy return, but he made the experience totally pleasant and he was so friendly and just went above and beyond anything we’ve ever seen I’ve seen several people in that situation, get really cranky and miserable, but Josh maintained such a high-level professionalism and courtesy and respect. He had a large line in front of us as well that he systematically work through them without getting frazzled and treated everybody with the most respect The guy represents the Home Depot brand beyond measure.
Home Depot is great but the service here sucks. My husband and I went into Home Depot for a job site box for the back of our truck and it took some 3 people 30+ minutes to get us a pallet jack and my hubby and I ended up picking it up and carrying it ourselves before they stopped us by the door with a cart. And then when they asked if we needed help loading the tool box Into the truck we said that would be great, we checked out and they were no where to be found so we loaded it ourselves. If you’re going to hire teenagers or anyone for that matter make sure they know how to do their damn job and professionally.
Our washer and dryer unit gave out so we came here to get a new unit. My parents were in town and since we’d just had our first baby, they helped us out and bought the new units for us on July 6th. We got a pair that can be side by side but also stacked. We were not told, nor was there any indication that we needed a stack kit in order for it to be installed stacked, nor that this kit didn’t come with the units. Miscommunication number 1. We were told a delivery date of the 19th. Come the 19th, Temco Logistics delivery service works with Home Depot, they came to deliver and install our units. Only then did we find out that we need a stack kit and that there was no stack kit with the units. So, they couldn’t install our machines. And Temco took the machines back to the warehouse instead of leaving them with us. Mistake number 2. We called Home Depot and they said they couldn’t get the stack kit until the 31st. So we went to Fred’s Appliance in Kalispell and bought the correct stack kit from them, as they had it in stock. Now with the part we needed for installation, we called Home Depot again, only to be told it still couldn’t be done until the 31st. I called Temco to see if there was any way it could be sooner, as we’ve already been waiting two weeks, and we have a newborn. I was told the 30th, a single day sooner. So we still had to wait another week and a half. Come the 30th, I called Temco to see what time delivery would be so I could make sure I was home. I was told there was a “glitch in the system” that bumped things back to the 31st. It is now the 31st. Temco delivery guys come by 9:45am. Only to be told that the only thing they were told was that they needed to install the stack kit, not that we don’t have the machines, so they didn’t have the machines with them. Miscommunication number 3. I got a call about 30 minutes later from a supervisor. I explained the whole situation from start to finish. He told me the machines certainly should have stayed with us, and that Home Depot made the mistake of today’s confusion. They wrote down that a mere service was needed, which translated to the delivery company that only the stack kit needed to be installed. Not that the machines were brought back to the warehouse and we don’t have them. It has now been a month, and I was told today that we won’t be getting our machines brought and fully installed until tomorrow, the 1st. Needless to say we won’t be purchasing any more appliances from Home Depot any time soon, this whole situation has been absolutely ridiculous and extremely frustrating.
