Outstanding store for those who enjoy their time outdoors. An employee said they actually test almost everything they sell and I believe it. They carry top quality products and are competitively priced. Sorry I sound like a commercial but I know a bit about the outdoors & they sell much of what has proven to me to be quality products. I did buy a compression bag on my visit & plan on getting a new backpacking Stove & a few other things this Fall. Check the store out as you will like it.

Nice quality gear with good variety for a small shop. The owners are very knowledgeable about local outdoor activities. If you're in Eagle river, be sure to stop in, check out the gear and pick their brains about hiking options in northeastern Wisconsin.

Love those 1 pound chairs from The Hiker Box! They made up to 12,000 feet in the High Sierras south of Mammoth Mountain, CA. Highly recommend them!

I've purchased several items over the last couple of years and each time the experience has been great. The owners are always knowledgeable and more than willing to explain, suggest, open packages, and answer questions to make sure you find the product that works. We've gotten NoSeeUm jackets, a hydration pack bladder, a sun hat, and most recently sandals, just to name a few. Each has met or exceeded my expectations. They know their products and want to help you find what's best for you, not simply sell you something.
