The Great Northern Bar & Grill

This place is pretty cool. Not a big fan of ordering at a station in thw back for the bar. Food was pretty good but not awesome. Would come back for a drink for sure though.

Love this bar and the food and was so glad it is still there. Most of the older bars are gone or replaced by other new bars with less atmosphere. Love the long bar photos show both directions from my seat.

Very cool bar, real buzz inside. There’s a main bar area that is the heart of the place and booth seating at the back for dining. In an adjoining room there are pool tables plus a stage and dance floor for live music. We were a group of four so sat up the back but if I returned I’d definitely sit at the bar.

We didn’t get food but it looked great. If you love a local dive bar with beer in a mason jar with many local brewery flavors this is your bar. Great service. In a great little town. The food park across the street is also a great food spot. We came back twice to this bar. Loved it.

The best spot in Whitefish, an absolute must if you’re in the area.
