The Grand Cantina

Been here a bunch of times before but this was our first visit eating outside of summertime. The location is small but the interior is cozy and unique. The food and drinks are phenomenal. We always get the fries with the duck fat and banana jam it sounds weird, but it is delicious! We have had their margaritas, sangria, mojitos and mules - all scrumptious! Their tacos are also wonderful - note that a corn tortilla isn’t a hard shell - it’s still a soft tortilla and oh so tasty! The food combinations go together so well. Lastly, we tried their churros with caramel sauce. I wasn’t that excited - I’m a big sweets girl but this was DROOL WORTHY. Crunchy, warm, doughy, just the right amount of sweetness! Stop by whenever but note if you visit the picnic area in summer it is bee central. They don’t bother me but if you’re frightened just play it safe and eat inside!

Drinks were tasty and the food was delicious. Service was excellent as well. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back and try some other tacos. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for appetizers and tacos. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Tacos available with corn tortilla.

Delicious. Food was prepared fresh on the spot. Homemade nachos chips hit the spot to start off . The tacos that followed are to die for. Did not leave hungry. Cant wait to be back.

The Grand Cantina serves some really, really amazing Mexican food. The tacos were delicious and every dish was excellently seasoned and stuffed with fresh ingredients. The restaurant interior itself had a very vintage-aged, sort of hipster vibes with a lot of decorations paying homage to Mexico. Overall, it's a great place to visit when you're looking for Mexican food. By the way, don't forget to try the churros here; they're incredible.

Liked the ambiance a lot. The servers were very polite and the food was exceptional. Really liked the fries cooked in duck fat. The Barbacoa beef taco was also really good.

Brought the family out to dinner Thursday. Our server Lynne was great. The hype isn't really warranted thou. The corn fritters were good, even better heated thr next day. The nachos and salsa were really good. The tacos thou were blah. A few were pretty gross actually. I wouldn't go back tbh. Way over priced for what your getting.

Visited Grand Cantina for my bday weekend and it was a blast. The drinks and food were very good. I tried 3 drinks and the MULE was my favorite! Service was great and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. A must place to go.

We loved our experience here! The atmosphere of the restaurant is super cool, although it’s a bit small in there, we didn’t mind. The staff was very nice and quick with our orders. The duck fat fries with banana ketchup are a must have! Tacos were great, lots of different choices for the mix & match option. Will definitely be returning

The service at this small, basic restaurant was exceptionally good but the food was outstanding. There were five in our party and we had 6 different kinds of tacos. Each taco was excellent. The fries in duck fat with banana ketchup were perfect. In addition, the margaritas were among the best I've had. We don't live in Windsor but we haven't found such exceptional Mexican food in London, Ontario.

The Grand Cantina was a great stop for food. The server was very welcoming and nice, offering her suggestions on the best tacos, which were all delicious! The duck and the ODB were amazing. The restaurant itself is cozy with just enough seats for small gatherings. Overall, I'd go back if I were in the Windsor area.
