El Guaco

Great new place in Tecumseh to try out. The atmosphere I thought was really visually appealing and refreshing, so kudos to the design team. The chips and salsa to start off with were great, our server was very polite and pleasant, beers were cold and the main dish burrito with chicken and a side of refried beans and rice was also good - although I will say that I have to agree with some of the other reviews on here in regards to the rice and refried beans tasting a little bit bland. As for pricing, I would say it's pretty comparible to other local restaurants. Overall, a good experience and I would gladly go back!

Queso was okay but needed to be more melted and it had a layer of grease on it. Also authentic tofu tacos are... well the photo speaks for itself.

First time there and we were pleasantly pleased. The chicken enchiladas were really tasty and the steak fajitas also were very good. And of course we had to try some tequila/grapefruit juice...very refreshing! Liked the atmosphere and our server Jodie was awesome! We will definitely be back again!

I really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was great I had the taco salad with chicken and there was lots of chicken. Unlimited Nacho's and Salas the hot salsa was good. We had a couple coconut Margaritas they were awesome. I read a lot of reviews about bad service but ours was fantastic. Our server Kristy was great, we didn't wait long for our drinks or our food she was always around to see if we needed anything. I will definitely be coming back because I want to get a tequila flight.

Pretty good Mexican food and the service was very attentive. I tried the tacos and wasn’t disappointed. Unlimited chips and salsa to start for $2. Everyone at the table was happy with what they ordered. The water was cold and a nice bottle left at the table. I will be back.

Great atmosphere. Loved the decor. Staff and service were great. Drinks were ok but the food was terrible. Nothing had any flavor. My husband had the fajitas and the steak was so tough it was hard to eat and bland. I had the chimichanga, great portion size but zero flavour and so mushy.

My wife and I love the food there. It was our first time attending the place and our server LORI was AMAZING!!!!! . We will be going back every night she is working. We can't wait to see what the new chef has in store. We are definitely lifers!! ;

Could be better, in time I am sure it will be. Good potential. expensive drinks. I did not try any signature dishes yet. We opted for the combo plate that was $54, i wasn't impressed due to it tasting bland, but they do give you sauces. On the other hand the kids enjoyed it because it wasn't spicy. Very quick and courteous service.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, waitress Courtney and the food. Upon arrival there seemed to be confusion at the hostess stand but once seated everything went well. The waitress went out of her way to explain the menu and recommended some items. The food was better than expected with lots of flavour....plus having sauces on the table helped too. The Quesofundido appetizer was amazing! Price was reasonable for sure. We will be back. Laura Kay
