We stopped in for lunch today, and quite enjoyed it. Our food was good, and the view was very nice. The service was a little slow, but very nice. We had the haddock and the Acadian stew. I definitely recommend giving the stew a try. I would certainly recommend stopping in here. Check out all of my honest Google reviews. My photos have over 12,000,000 views!
4.5 stars. Great service - very fast and attentive. Amazing view. Great atmosphere, even on a week day. Almost all the food was great. You will see an empty plate picture for the fish tacos which were the best I ever had! But the tomato soup wasn’t good - don’t order it.
Wonderful restaurant with small town charm. The views and service was amazing. Our waitress was Courtney, you couldn't ask for a better server she was on top of her game with every table in her section. You could see it in how she dealt with other customers she made sure no one was forgotten about with the grace and charm of small town feel. It almost like a family meal and having your cousin ask you if you want anything else. This is what makes a great restaurant! delicious food stunning views and amazing service. Thanks for a wonderful date night with the hubby
5/5 stars and beyond for this meal! My husband and I wanted to try the Grand Banker a few nights earlier but when we arrived, we were saddened to find a note saying they had to unexpected close due to a maintenance issue. Well, that didn’t stop us! We headed home and ate dinner elsewhere that night, but then returned to the Grand Banker a few nights later for dinner to try this incredible place! We ordered the lobster roll and the Acadian-influenced seafood stew and the bread pudding for dessert. The Acadian-influenced seafood stew was AMAZING!!!!!!! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a delicious, flavourful and hearty dish. The broth had a little bit of spice to it just enough to add flavour but not overdo it and it was so full of seafood that it was a great value! The bread pudding was unique and a nice end to the meal. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Nova Scotia.
We showed up without reservations in July 2022 and it was crazy busy. We decided not to wait for a table and they let us order and eat at the bar. As busy as it was the food came out quick and it was very enjoyable. We also had a great time with our bartender with the interesting selection of beers.
A hidden gem in a small town. We were visiting this town and decided to eat our lunch here. Basically it was a small-town-pug design with a few tables for dine-in. We tried the ever-so famous lobster roll and we were pleased that it did not disappoint. All in all a great dining experience.
Food was great, price slightly higher than other places in the area for the amount of food you're getting. My experience would have been a 5 star had the side of fries or salad be included in the price. But my lobster roll was very tasty and the fish & chips was beautifully done and tasty too and my bf said his beer was perfect. The atmosphere and service were great and friendly. Would highly recommend if you're in the area! Be sure to arrive 1 hour before you want to eat since we were told there's usually a waiting list, which there was when we went.
This place gets very busy very quickly. We were told by staff to get here before 6 pm when it got super busy but by the time we got there at 5:30, we luckily received the second last available table. The food was pretty good but the biggest downside was the mediocre service and the long wait times. Would definitely come back if management could find a way to add more tables and staff.
Fabulous food and service. We have the lobster rolls, my wife had the sweet potato fries on the side, and I have the baker's salad as my side. It was all exceptional. Their bread pudding is the best we have had anywhere. A wonderful time, great service, great food. Thank you very much.
Wife had the lobster roll and I had the fish and chips. She was very happy and I was content. Fish was a bit on the greasy side, but overall good. Beer was the best we’d had in a long time. IPA delicious!Recommended dishesLobster Roll with Cesar's Salads, Fish & Chips
