First time in the vineyard and we stayed at the dockside inn. This place was extremely hard to get a last minute reservation so I recommend booking way in advance. The dockside is in a fantastic location close to the Main Street, night life and seconds from the beach. The staff was friendly and the hotel it’s self was clean. They had great amenities like chairs, coolers, beach towels and beach toys that anyone could use for the day. They had a cute hot tub area and a small sun deck and room to enjoy. The rooms were decently sized, one of the only downfalls would be the small street can be slight noisy with small trucks delivering things and cars. Overall I would definitely come back again on my next trip to the vineyard. Recommend staying here!!
The owner and staff are top notch. My husband and I stay here every year in August. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. They offer snacks, fruit, oatmeal, tea/coffee, yogurt and my favorite are the chocolate and mint malt balls. I highly recommend to family and friends. Hope to see John and his family in 2023!Rooms: 5/5
Room was clean, service was helpful. I stored my bag there for the day but it’s not locked up. They have coffee & some snacks available but I wouldn’t exactly call it breakfast
Very nice , clean friendly place in downtown O.B. a bit noise in morning so just keep windows closed. I will stay here when we come back. Lovely.Rooms: 5/5
Highly Recommended! Front Desk: Check in was smooth, Kevin at the desk was very helpful. Ask them about the tour it is worth it! Housekeeping: Kudos to Housekeeping, the room and the common area are always clean. Location: Close to everywhere, bars, restaurants, ferry, bus stops, shops and car rentals! Can't wait to come back!
Fast check in, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, free cookies ice pops, light breakfast, snacks, what more could u ask for!? Convenient location and they have coolers, beach chairs, beach buckets and toys u can borrow. Best place to stay hands down. Madison Inn is a runner up.Rooms: 5/5
This was a great place to stay. Very convenient location and the hotel was very clean. Our room was on the second floor and had great views. The only downside was the bed - it was so hard and uncomfortable we barely slept! Otherwise, would recommend this place!Rooms: 4/5
Great place to stay! The friendly like home atmosphere. My family had three rooms for the weekend and loved the experience. Conveniently located close to the ferry dock made it easy to get to. The little extras like the beach equipment, towels, and the cookies were a nice surprise. The free snack bar was also much appreciated. I would give the Dockside ***** five stars and will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to The Vineyard my entire life and have always admired this quaint spot and it’s great location. This is the first time I’ve actually stayed here, and am impressed with the renovations as well as the friendly service and amenities. If you want to be close to everything, and especially if it want to do it easily without spending the $$$ to get a car over, this is the place!
