The Gatsby

Drinks are a bit overpriced. Service is ok. Music could be hit and miss I’m talking only Gatsby, not the Monaco Bay downstairs. Although now they are doing Latin nights on Fridays, and that is a lot of fun - the people are very friendly and dancers of all levels are welcomed, with a good variety of music.

If you’re looking for a cool speakeasy type place, you should look elsewhere. Staff is rude and condescending- so they have that going for them... but the music and vibe are awful.

My favorite bar in Kalamazoo I love the classy feeling it gives you and it's always a great time! My friends and I go here all the time when we are downtown Kalamazoo. What a great environment..I have never had a bad time here:

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this establishment. It totally transports me to the 20's which I am all about. The bartenders are pretty awesome too.

The Gatsby is unique to downtown, much different vibe than most of the other bars around. Go in for a drink and chat with an interesting new stranger, or take in the gorgeous view of downtown through the full length windows; Gives a big city vibe from the view.

Really great cocktails and a wonderful atmosphere. There has always been lots of energy each time I've been there.

The worst place iv ever been and iv been to Mexico. The management is clueless and rude beyond belief! Smells bad, dark, and again the management too stuck up to help because of there "im better than u attitude".
