We are regulars here. Usually after the sabbath sundown we come to get a late night bite. We've never been dissatisfied dining in ever!!! Carryout, we have had missing items, and old fries. So please check your bags before leaving, especially if you are outside of town. The trip back isn't worth it. Other than that the food is delicious, and service is great!
Arrived at 845 on a Friday. The restaurant/bar area was about 1/3 full. We were seated right away. Our waitress was Ana. I ordered the $3 beer special see photo but was told I could only get a $4 beer. When I inquired further, she checked with the manager and, after about 5-10 minutes, brought me the beer. Ana began to take our order but realized she didn't have her paper/pen. She left/came back a few seconds later and we ordered an appetizer and three burgers. We sat patiently as I finished my beer and one of my sons finished his water. We waited about 15 minutes before Ana came back. She did walk by our table 2 or 3 times during the 15 minutes, but never checked with us. There we 4-6 people at the hostess desk for most of the night, including 2-3 people I assume were managers, but they did not check with any customers. So I eventually ordered another drink, and after a few more minutes our food came out. Not sure what happened to our appetizer but it never came. I didn't say anything to the waitress and was waiting to see if it showed up on the bill. It did not. The food was great but the service was horrible. Not sure I would come back. Horrible service seems to be the new normal at most restaurants. A big thank you to the trophy generation!!
Nice restaurant that was fairly busy but the service was on top of it. I had the french dip and fries which was excellent. We went back a few nights later for a company dinner and is was excellent asw well.
This was my first experience, and it was not a great one.. The only good experience I had here was the wings being tasty even though mine were served cold.. The service is where my experience completely fell apart from start to finish and it wasn’t that busy when we got there. It started off with us waiting almost 10 minutes standing up front with no one acknowledging us to get seated which, by itself is okay. It happens. But everything after that followed suit. Our server served us our waters and then left us for about 30 minutes to figure out what we wanted to eat/drink. After running out of my water and pop, our server continually ignored our empty drinks even after we had asked for a refill. I had to continually ask for refills when she checked in asking if everything was okay. She forgot the said drinks multiple times. Our food eventually came out and one of our friends food was forgotten for another 10 minutes and we had to say something, and the entire time we had our food, our drinks were empty. We had asked for honey mustard sauce with our wings when we had ordered, but she forgot to bring it out. When she later brought it out, it fell off her platter and on the floor. This happens, and is no big deal. Except 15 minutes later, when our food was finished, she asked if I still wanted it. And I said it was alright. Well, I stepped away for a second around the honey mustard sauce that was still all over the ground to use the restroom. My wife paid the bill without looking to see that she still charged us for the sauce that was all over the ground and not cleaned up for the entire time we were there. We had to make sure not to step in it whenever we moved I don’t think I’ll be coming back..
The food was very good. Our waitress was friendly and took good care of us. Enjoyable atmosphere. It was not busy at all.
The service was beyond great! The zero proof drinks tasted great but I enjoyed my chicken sandwich but the Cajun fries kind of ruined the meal to seasoned. It’s like I was just eating seasoning and not fries. The regular fries were much better. The Mac n cheese was not worth the price honestly. The only reason I say the experience was okay was the good service.
Restaurant Week specials, 2 for $25 minus drinks. Delicious and best RW deals every year. We chose year before last RW drink we loved them so much…Irish Mudslides. Not pictured is strawberry shortcake dessert we had boxed up, we were so stuffed.
Used to go here in college quite often. Brought my hubs and the in-laws before a hockey game and it was enjoyable. Food was delicious and plentiful. Drinks were good. Price is decent, but I was disappointed to hear that they did away with the student menu on Sundays. It was a major draw for us in college and made us repeat customers. Overall Burdicks is a nice restaurant with good seating and a nice atmosphere. The waitress was also very personable and attentive!
My fiancé had an amazing experience at old Burdick’s this afternoon! Katie was a perfect blend of attentive but not too much attention, if ya know what I mean. The food was fantastic! Thank you Old Burdick’s for a wonderful meal, we will be back!
I don’t know who and why rated this place less than 5 stars. My experience was awesome! Everything is clean, food is delicious, extremely nice service! And guys: I travel a lot. In NY or LA that delicious burger + truffle tots + 2 virgin mojito would cost you 60-70$. He it was 29$. Local visitors are lucky! Top-quality bar for amazing price! Check photos please!
