So happy to have a safe space in Kalamazoo! Growing up here Kalamazoo always had some where, glad to see the amazing effort to keep a space here! It helped me when i needed it! And now Vortex is helping me now that I’m older <3 love my fam!
I only get to be there a couple of times a year, every time I'm there I have the most fun! The show's are phenomenal, the performers are BEAUTIFUL and I'm made to to feel at home. Thank you letting me be a part of your world!
Went here three times and regretted every time I went. Staff is rude and unfriendly, music is subpar, and the atmosphere was just overall unattractive. Save your money, there’s plenty better clubs to go to.

Wife and I decided to do something different and showed up last night. What a great atmosphere and everyone seemed very friendly. We had a blast and would definitely return again soon!!!
Music was boring, staff was arrogant. Been to a lot of clubs and this one was not up to par. Locals said not to go but went anyway. Dont waste your money
