Sensei Antonio Guzman started practicing the gentle art of Judo in 1973 in El Salvador and founded The Gathering Place Judo Club in 1995. He became College Champion of California in the late 70's, and National and Central American Champion in the 80's. Antonio holds a Judo Yondan (4th degree black belt) under Judo Canada and a Judo Godan (5th degree black belt) under the El Salvador Judo Federation.
