Story

Mount Pleasant Centre is a gleaming multi-service civic centre with virtually everything under the roof. The heart of the building is the new Community Centre, 24% bigger and only one kilometer away from the old site, featuring a gym and climbing wall, a fitness centre, dancing studio, multi-purpose rooms and outdoor space. Mount Pleasant Centre also houses a new Vancouver Public Library, Child Development Centre, café and market value rental housing.

Used to live at gym here , but with covid and limited workout time it's not worth the money or time anymore
Top notch centre
The community does food banks in their gym and you need a mask to enter, it's also connected to the Vancouver Public Library. The ppl are nice and friendly
The climbing wall in this community centre is one of its outstanding features.
A friendly, cosmopolitan, multi-purpose facility. Using the fitness center regularly for 8 months of the year the area is well used, equipment and patrons respected each other and generally clean. All fitness center staff has been friendly, welcoming and very helpful when I have had questions about equipment and/or exercises.
Situated in the heart of Mt. Pleasant, it has a great address, being at number 1 Kingsway, and it incorporates the Mt. Pleasant branch of the library. Pleasant staff, lots of programs and classes. I particularly love Mr. Li's Tai Chi/Qui Gong class on Friday mornings. He's so patient and positive!
There is a Korean coffee and food place on the first floor! The bathroom is clean!! And you can see many organised events. Ah! also a library :
Clean. Friendly. Good for families & singles. Huge gym. Comfy chairs in lobby and library access as well. Also has a play room with a pool table and ping pong.
