Hastings Community Centre, located in the north corner of East Vancouver, is jointly operated by the Vancouver Park Board and the Hastings Community Association. The centre is located on Hastings Street just east of Renfrew Street, opposite to Hastings Park and the PNE. It serves all ages and cultures and offers a myriad of recreational programs and events. The centre has a fitness centre, racquetball courts, gymnasium, auditorium, family enrichment centre, a large preschool, several multi-purpose rooms, and is adjacent to a water spray park which is open in the summer.
Templeton Park Pool is an indoor pool located in Templeton Park at the north side of East Vancouver, beside Templeton Secondary School.
Templeton Park Pool serves the neighbourhood with a full schedule of public swim opportunities, and a complete age range of learn to swim lesson programs including advanced aquatic leadership courses.
