Great place, have gotten ice cream only once but drove past it multiple times, the service was fast, & the drive through makes it really nice if u in a hurry, service was pretty fast, ice cream was great too!
Perfect place to indulge your summer evening ice cream fantasies. There are tasty vegan/dairy-free options and all the toppings you need for sundaes - including peanut butter sauce. Underwhelmed by their deer tracks flavor it's meant to compete with moose tracks but the fudge was closer to syrup than the hard dark fudge I craved.
Always good. Line may look intimidatingat at times but its never a long wait. They are great about getting people in an out. Priced great. Great service, always worth the drive down to just get ice cream even though we have 5 places local to us here in whitehall.
We had a bad experience here! The kids that were working were unhelpful and 1 said "I need to go home" we got there at 9:30 & didn't get our ice cream until 10! My sister in law got 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip, ordered it in a waffle cone and got 2 scoops on a regular cone, picture below. She asked for her waffle cone and she told her you didn't order one then she said "I can't deal with this right now" & gave her a waffle cone. They gave her a cup that did not even fit the ice cream. She asked for a bigger cup and she told her she didn't have one. The girl ended up coming out with a cup she said she found in the storage room. My brother in laws cone had so much ice cream on it it fell off. My ice cream was not what I ordered either. I ordered a flurrie with peanut butter & reeses pieces and it was reeses peanut cups not pieces and no peanut butter. My husband's was fine a chocolate malt. Extra large portions but terrible service! They never cleaned the tables off between customers either.

Live nearby and have been here before. Have not been previously disappointed. I ordered and paid $7 for a hot fudge sundae with crushed peanuts. What I got was about 3 tablespoons of ice cream with a TON of whipped cream and crushed peanuts on top. I didn’t realize I had a bowl of primarily whipped cream until I had already driven away. I didn’t want to take off all the whipped cream because it had all the crushed peanuts on top. I got rid of as much as I could but there was still so little ice cream that I ended up with a soupy mixture of hot fudge, nuts, and whipped cream which I ended up throwing away. Very disappointing for a $7 sundae. Not in a hurry to return after this experience. Maybe give the employees better training?
Great ice cream and huge servings. Had one customer service related issue on my last visit, but management went above and beyond in resolving the matter. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Muskegon!
The Frosty Cove is a perfect option if you’re taking that classic ‘drive around the lake’ and want some ice cream; they’re right on the way! They also have gluten free options AND gluten free cones, which is a great plus. The customer service is friendly, and while there can be a line at their busier times, we’ve found it moves fairly quickly.
We went here EVERY SINGLE DAY of vacation! They have the best ice cream and the biggest sizes EVER! Literally LOVE their flavors, and I always add rainbow sprinkles and cheesecake bites on the ice cream Love this place! Go there ASAP
Delicious ice cream with lots of great flavors to choose from. New paved area for added seating.
