We stopped by chance and I am glad to have come across with this place. They were so very nice with us, very friendly people. We ordered ice cream and it was amazing
Glad I stopped in. I was charging my Zero 100% electric motorcycle right across the street. Strolled in - met some super friendly people and gulped down a fantastic butter pecan malt served with a smile, a great story, and a frosted mug. Highly recommend. Next time I will arrive hungry and eat something.
The staff here are so nice and enthusiastic! I’ve tried their small batch ice cream and lunch specials and have been so impressed! Everything tastes like it’s homemade.
Honestly blown away by how good their food and ice cream is. I went yesterday for ice cream and was surprised that it didn't make me feel bloated at all I felt good after eating it and that was not something I was used to. So I went back today for lunch and had their greek dogs and I absolutely loved them. I initially only got one but after having one I needed to get another one to go! If you go I can tell you that their soup is amazing, their hotdogs are great and flavorful, the jalapeño buns are tasty and pair well with the Greek dogs, and their ice cream is top tier. I highly recommend this place and think many people are missing out by not trying it out!

Easily my favorite ice cream place and the hot fudge and the malts and the sammichs and the best hot dogs and the best little fancy gotmet treats. My only complaint is they're not open everyday. My favorite place to eat in Muskegon
We tried Occidental Eats last weekend and it was great! It’s wonderful to see a family-run business that has a vision for Muskegon and interested in preserving the history of the city and building. It was delicious and a fun way to get ice cream.
Fantastic Ice cream place! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. It has a fantastic atmosphere and everything is delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of ice cream in Muskegon.
Great ice cream! Stopped in on our way through town. Kids loved the flavors. Highly recommend the Occidental Sundae. Very friendly owners and cool Occidental Hotel history!!
This place is amazing and fun. The home made fudge and the cherry award winning sundaes are out of this world.
