The Loon Café

Full house at the Loon Cafe on a Monday before a Twins game. Melissa, our server, was energetic, friendly and spot on taking our order. The slider platter was served hot and tasty. The only disappointment, were the fries. The pile of fries were hot on top to warm/cold on the bottom.

I LOVE THE LOON! The service alone is worth stopping in. Add on food and cocktails and you've got a great spot for anything from Happy Hour to a Saturday night out! Make sure you try one of their famous Grape Apes!

The Pecos Red River Chili is to die for. I have had it several times in the last month. I want to try the other types of chili but it is so delicious I keep defaulting back to it. As someone from the south, this is some amazing chili!!!

I always enjoy The Loon. Cool environment, good service, decent food for average tavern prices in most cases, some are more than I'd expect. Today I wasn't too impressed with the Phili Cheese Steak...would have been better on white bread. Didn't even think to ask the type of bread...
