My review isn’t on the campground , as I haven’t stayed there. My review is in regard to the dishonesty of the owner, Kelly. My son purchased a collector vehicle from him 7 months ago. It was sold with parts which have never been received. We’ve tried numerous times to pick these parts up in either Canal Flats or at his storage yard in Calgary, with no success. There has always been an excuse as to why the parts aren’t available. Parts for this vehicle are hard to find and expensive. We assume that Kelly has sold these parts to someone else. I’ve included pictures of the 1962 IHC Scout that my son bought from Kelly. The pictures show the campground advertising on the doors. I hate using this review site for this reason, but Kelly will not return phone calls or emails, and this may be the only way to contact him. In my opinion the man is a lying thief. A real “scammer”. This place is a joke. There is a reason why there are no pictures posted. The host was rude, sarcastic and demeaning. He thought he was funny, but he was plain rude. The site is a waste of time. However the spring brook motel and rv park in skookemchuck had nice hosts and clean facilities and only 20 mins past canal flats

Kelly and Kate are bar nine for hospitality and their spaces, from the Rv park to the coffee shop are creative and energetic like thier personalities. The area is beautiful and in the middle of some of the most incredible and peaceful bodies of water. We stayed only 24 hours but between kayaking lakes, hiking and experiencing hot springs (a must do that we actually only fit into our scedhule after dark cause we had so much we wanted to do!) - all the beautiful places to explore,( including thier super cute hand made market at the coffee shop,) we wish we could have spent a week! I highly recommend you visit this incredible space - you won't be sorry you did!

it does not look like nice camping for tents from the road but they have great spots for tents up to the river
