Story

The Faculty Club at the University of Toronto is a private members club in the heart of the iconic and historic downtown Toronto campus.
This club offers membership options open to U of T alumni, faculty, staff, and professional students looking to grow their social circles.
As a Faculty Club member, you may make full use of the Club’s extensive facilities including a pub and patio with full lunch and dinner menus. Additionally, as a member you can reserve a number of halls and rooms suited for different events. For personal occasions like weddings to professional meetings for all fields, our banquets and receptions may range from small events to elaborate feasts.

Not bad. Same prices as the outside world.

I love this space for its beauty, elegance and history. You need to be a member or with a member to eat here. I have to say that only their "white people food" is done well. I tried their Mediterranean menu once and realized that the food truck down the street did a way better job. But their grilled trout or burgers or fish and chips? Amazing.

Such a unique place to be! Loved the prestigious inside decor and the food!? Wow!!! I was honestly blown away by it get the bruschetta- you don’t be disappointed. Leanne is the GM and she was so accommodating and kind! Knows guests on a first name basis and the staff really does make you feel like you’re a celebrity! Thanks for such a lovely experience! Can’t wait to come back!

St Patrick's Day, for the first time in 4 years? Fantastic!

Held a private event here. Nice place, but $10 a drink ended up ruining the event as our guests mostly decided to go elsewhere. I’d recommend negotiating more reasonable drinks prices if using again. Ironically, I’m sure they would have 300% revenue if they just kept the price point reasonable.

Beautiful building. Opened in the 1920s as the Primrose Club. The dining room was just painted and it is quite beautiful. Nice patio and a pub in the basement. Millions of $ in Group of 7 art among others.
