Mad River Distillers

Oh VT and your phenomenal service/distilleries. This by far is a favorite. Great bar tender, great atmosphere and delicious drinks. My husband loves the maple cask rum and the Maple Bourbon Sour. I tried the strawberry hibiscus daiquiri. All were flavorful and well made. The bartender was knowledgeable, helpful and overall bomb! Check them out, worth it!

Excellent customer service. Everyone who worked there was friendly and they seemed genuinely interested in giving you a quality, individualized, and fun experience! Located just off a park and a 1 minute walk from College Street, you can t wait the location! We enjoyed the rum drinks but it would also be a whisky drinkers Heaven with the options of tastings and cocktails.

Fine cocktails! They managed some complex profiles, and paired good cheese. The staff was friendly and talkative. Being able to bring well behaved dogs inside on a rainy day was a huge boost.

Nice retail and tasting space in central Burlington. We reserved a tasting session to try a variety of their offerings. Pleasant & knowledgeable staff helped us navigate a variety of product and some tasty snacks. The retail products were compelling enough that our group left with a variety of gear. The only pity is that their cocktail program only operates Thursday-Saturday. Worth a visit. Try their 100% rye.

I was visiting Burlington, VT for the day and got really excited when I came across Mad River Distillery! I get so excited when I can find a great place for a good, authentic cocktail. Mad River is a beautiful place to stop in for a drink or two. The prices are just right and they have a nice selection of cocktails to choose from. I really enjoy bourbon and ordered the Paper Plane cocktail: bourbon, Aperol, lemon, nonino amaro. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this cocktail. This was a great stop for us!

Everyone was so super friendly and helpful, and the espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had! Made with their vanilla rum, so good I took a bottle home!

Stopped in on a Monday afternoon for a tasting and had the place to ourselves! Taylor was knowledgeable and funny, and made us feel very welcome. We had a blast trying the different offerings and bought several bottles! We’d love to come back to try new releases and will recommend to local friends and family.

Extremely nice staff. Great tasting spirits and unique. It’s nice to see small local shops and the products they make. Great location and a good place to grab a perfect cocktail.

Warm and fun thing to do on a cold day in Burlington: Mad River Distillery tasting! We tried several rums and a rye, educated on each one by knowledgeable staff Josh and Givin. Try the fun cocktails they offer too, we'll definitely be back.
