Welcome to the Cut Above Salon and Spa located in Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke! We are an award-winning full service salon specializing in innovative hair cutting, flawless highlights, colour correction, deep conditioning treatments, as well as a full complement of aesthetic services.

Together with his father, Fiore, and sisters Maria and Lisa, manager Rick and the rest of the team are committed to offering first-class, yet affordable service and products in a warm and friendly environment. They bring a total of over 100 years of expertise among the four of them.

A friend and i went in here yesterday. I was getting a men's trim and style she a women's wash cut and style. We both walked out to the worst haircuts we have ever had. We thought this place looked great unfortunately we did not read the other reviews on here. Both stylists rushed our haircuts, mine was done in less than 10 minutes, hers 30. I wasn't asked what style i wanted she made the assumption and started to cut, did not ask for number length of the razor. Our haircuts were not even nor styled properly, stray hairs were visible to us upon our leaving this place. It was very disappointing as we had a televised event to go to today and were looking forward to having a good cut. Next time we will check the reviews. Hesitant to go back in fear of further mess ups.

I've been coming to The Cut Above for years as well as both of my 20 year old daughters. I've seen most of the hairdressers here(I have a hard time making appointments so I pretty much see who is available at the time) including Michelle, Lisa, Craig, Desiree, and  most recently Mimi for colour and a cut. She did an absolute fabulous job. I love both the cut and colour. They're all very friendly here and are good at what they do. The girls and I have never been disappointed. The price is also very reasonable in comparison to other places

I have been going here for many years getting my hair cut and styled by Michelle and I always leave happy! Always listens to what I want with my hair and is always friendly.

Worst haircut i have ever had! Last Friday i decided to give second chance to this place and i was unfortunate to be served by Mimi. She just keeps looking around instead of focusing on my hair and gave me laser burns on my hair’s back with an awful cutting style. Instead of using scissors she tried to cut the hair with hairclipper ended up giving me a uneven hair length all over my head. I had to keep telling her that they are not looking good so she pretended like she is trying to fix it . Now my hair looks so bad with no style. Good job you did it in ten minutes to make more money but be sure that i will tell everyone i know not to have a haircut there!!

Mimi for guys hair is a hidden gem. I usually don't try different people but this person did a great job cleaning me up. Would definitely recommend. They got 2 great stylists now. Tatiana and Mimi.
