In the past I haven't been a fan of Indian cuisine until I ate here. This place changed my mind on Indian cuisine and made me a fan now. We ordered appetizers, curries, nana bread, rice dishes and lassie drinks. They give big portions enough for two people. The value for your money is good and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.
We could eat this curry every day. We've tried most of the main dishes and they have all been delicious! The naan flavors are so good too. We've found the mild heat level is too spicy for the most delicate palette, but undetectable to those who like spicy foods. Medium adds just enough heat without being difficult. They also participate in the Vancouver Island Reuseables program where you can sign up to get take out in returnable containers, which is awesome! Make this a regular dinner spot; we have!
Even though they ran out of thier signature Veggue Samosas, it was a great meal! All the curries were delicious, but the Eggplant Bharat is my new favourite! Great flavours and textures. Decent portions for the price and lots of naan included.
Truly a gem of a restaurant in Nanaimo. It does absolute justice to indian cuisine. Went here 2 days straight & was highly satisfied with the quantity & taste. Generous portion size with extremely friendly service. Dal & chicken masala is a must try. Dont forget their stuffed naan. Lastly, the chai is extremely refreshing. Do try it. Undoubtedly the best indian food in town. Love these guys. Will visit them again. Definitely recommend.

This is my new favourite Indian restaurant in Nanaimo. I have dined here many times now, tried several dishes, and have never been disappointed. The food is absolutely amazing. Their lunch special is so inexpensive and very filling. I will never stop eating here and am so happy to have this little gem close by.
My sister and I just got takeout this evening for the first time here!! We both were blown away by how incredible all the food was!! The samosas were the best we have ever had, the flavours were rich, and amazing! This is a must try place for anyone who loves Indian cuisine!!
The best Indian restaurant in the city. Whether its food or customer service. Always pleasant to serve guests. Prices are so reasonable and food tastes the best. I have tried so many Indian restaurants in the city but this will be my first choice no matter what. Hats off to you guys for being so humble and cheerful all the time.
