Manvirro's Indian Grill

This is the first time i have asked the restaurant not to pack the leftovers. Food was of such poor taste. The hot wings we ordered was very sour and we waited for the restaurant special fried rice disappointment again it was so sour we asked for yogurt to cover the sour taste . Top of that attitude of the waitress was terrible. I would say this should be the last option on the list if you want to try Indian food in Nanaimo.

We eat here frequently and it is always amazing. I particularly love the spinach lamb curry. Fantastic. I have tried so many things on the menu and everything has been great. Can't say enough good about this place. Always a favourite. If you want delicious, authentic Indian food, eat here.

I have never been to a place that just reminds me of all the flavours we left back-home. I ordered this delicious platter with my friends on a nice weather day today when we were craving for ‘pakodas’ in the rainy day. And i think what we just got on the table was something much more than I expected. I simply loved it.

Shout out to the best restaurant in the town..!!! Such a wonderful experience! The food was incredible from presentation to taste also spectacular! We had so much fun and the staff were kind and patient and really made the experience a success. The owner was very friendly and professional.The chef and his team made special plates with phenomenal flavors and surprises. 100% recommended for every night!!

Ordered chilli chicken with rice and a smoothie on doordash. Only recieved rice and Naan bread which I didn't even order and the smoothie was the size of a small coffee, despite costing $10! Completely ridiculous price for size portion, and totally messed up my order. Do not order from here

Why keep your restaurant open for dine in if you are not interested in serving the guests. Went there for a night snack with friends, the server/ owner sat us on a table and went back chatting with someone. Didn’t even bother to greet properly and serve water. Had to shout from far away after waiting for 10 minutes to ask for water. If you are too busy to chit chat then why even bother to keep your doors open for business. Food was good but service is not worth spending money. Not a person who would complain since I work in customer service too and I know how challenging it could be in certain times but what I witnessed is not even close to be called customer service.

Its really good place to visit where you can enjoy variety of Indian flavoured food. Staff is so friendly and nice. Its very spacious and clean. Food presentation is also amazing. This is the for sure one of the place where you can go and celebrate your special occasions with friends and family and have fun. Kid-friendliness: They have multiple option with poutine and fries for kids. Also you can ask them to make mild curries which kids can also enjoy. Parking: They have ample of parking available in front of restaurant so for sure you will never get any issues with parking there.

I will recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family that come to the island; the atmosphere was excellent and staff was super helpful! Food was delicious and they were super welcoming to me as a newcomer! Will definitely be coming back again!

By far the worst Indian food Ive ever had. The extra veggie option, $7 was just “frozen crinkle cut carrots and peas”. The Jalfrezi looked and tasted like tomato soup out of a can. Normally we would demolish a plate of jelfrezi as its one of our fave dishes, but it was so gross we barely touched it. We talked to the manager and they wouldn’t give us a refund for the food and told me they are priced fair. Will never order or recommend food from this restaurant. Im not one to throw away or waste food but we basically threw out $80 worth of food and went elsewhere to eat. Terrible food quality, over priced and small portions.
