The Cornerstone Bar and Restaurant

Walked into this place a few times, I love the building, the layout and the entire vibe of this restaurant. I ordered the Veggie Burger and OMG! Best. Burger. Ever. Even my friends who do not eat veggie burgers ever love it! 100% will buy again, and will bring friends here to try. 👌🏽

The food was okay, but the wait to be seated as well as the food was pretty long. And we got a waitress/server who snapped at us multiple times and gave us lectures on how we shouldn't try to help her with the plates as it's "not her first rodeo". She also was mad when we decided to pay together, saying we should have told us that first time she asked and that we should remember that for future visits( I don't think there's going to be any). It was my friend's birthday and he got upset, and when we asked why couldn't we just pay two bills with same credit card she said it makes her night longer and that she would like to save trees. she then went on to print another receipt, using MORE paper. I understand that she might not be having a good night, or that she didn't like us helping her with plates, or that it is more convenient for her to print bills together, but never in my life I have ever seen a customer given a lecture in that tone. Not a good experience. Just to be clear I am also a server.

This elegant yet cozy restaurant and bar is a place I'd recommend. The staff was friendly and the food unique. Justin the bar tender took the time to tell me his menu favourites despite working a bar full of people. My dinner was a surprise but a delicious one. I will definitely be back.

This place has great food and great service. Drinks are amazing. I recommend the White Drink, fabulous. Usually really busy and little wait. If you are waiting, stick around. Awesome experience.
