Great food and service. The chef's special was superb last night as were the regular menu items. Full size meal servings and desserts. Lots of gluten free options on the menu or by special request. Bonnie's service was exceptional and very friendly with lots of details and recommendations.

Fabulous! If you are looking for a gemstone of a restaurant, head here. The food is full of flavor and nothing is over cooked. I highly recommend the Seafood Chowder and Fette Chili. The Beef Tenderloin was tender and juicy and the Lamb Rack flavourful. If you get a dessert, plan to share, portion sizes are generous. Excellent quality food.

We went to Cafe Carlo on Feb 3, 2018 at 5 pm The server only printed out one page of specials for a table of four to save trees. Although cold outside, the place heats up, especially for servers moving about. To carry more, our server tucked the pepper mill up high, almost in her armpit, on her bare arm. I got a thought of her sweat coating the pepper mill. Oh well. We had to leave by 6:30, so no time for dessert and the coffee was undrinkable. A few problems detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
