Story

The Comfort Shoppe sells and services a variety of home comfort products, including spas/hot tubs, furnaces, boilers, BBQs, fireplaces, mantels, heating, air conditioning, geothermal heat pump systems, demand hot water systems, gazebos, ductless heating and cooling, and solar microFIT energy systems. We serve Bowmanville, Courtice, Newscastle, Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering, Ajax, and surrounding areas.

Many years of experience are behind the friendly staff at The Comfort Shoppe. From our humble beginnings in 1987, we have experienced tremendous growth. In 1993, The Comfort Shoppe opened its first retail store in downtown Bowmanville. By 1996, we outgrew this location, and extensively renovated 160 Baseline Rd. East to open a new showroom. In 1998, we expanded our product line to include Hydropool hot tubs. In 2000, we obtained more space in the building and expanded our showroom to 10,000 sq. ft.
