The Comfort Shoppe sells and services a variety of home comfort products, including spas/hot tubs, furnaces, boilers, BBQs, fireplaces, mantels, heating, air conditioning, geothermal heat pump systems, demand hot water systems, gazebos, ductless heating and cooling, and solar microFIT energy systems. We serve Bowmanville, Courtice, Newscastle, Oshawa, Whitby, Pickering, Ajax, and surrounding areas.

Many years of experience are behind the friendly staff at The Comfort Shoppe. From our humble beginnings in 1987, we have experienced tremendous growth. In 1993, The Comfort Shoppe opened its first retail store in downtown Bowmanville. By 1996, we outgrew this location, and extensively renovated 160 Baseline Rd. East to open a new showroom. In 1998, we expanded our product line to include Hydropool hot tubs. In 2000, we obtained more space in the building and expanded our showroom to 10,000 sq. ft.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Scott, Dana, and the Comfort Shoppe. They installed a new gas furnace and all new ductwork in the crawl space at my cottage. It was a HUGE (and probably nasty) job, and was completed in a very reasonable amount of time - and the price was also very fair considering the size of the job. Even though it took them longer than expected, the price did not change from what I was quoted. Thanks Dana for a job well done!  ID#23709

Very satisfied with recent purchase. The sales rep Tina was punctual and very pleasant to deal with. Install was very smooth, the crew cleaned up as they went, and we are happy with the way everything looks. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Having been customers of The Comfort Shoppe for 20 years, there is no other company we would turn to for our HVAC needs in our commercial property. Their office staff proficiently arrange the annual maintenance visits and when required have arranged for new A/C units to be installed and most recently a new high efficiency furnace. The servicemen are equally proficient and the customer service outstanding all the way around. We can always count on a job well done. Thank you for being so reliable for all these years.

My furnace was acting up and a technician came out and tried to get it working for 3 hours before finally telling me that a new furnace was necessary. I appreciated the effort he put in and his honesty.  The next day, I had my new furnace installed.  I'm very satisfied with the technicians involved and the promptness in providing me with a new furnace.
