Needed help with printing The manager was very helpful.With the managers assistance I received exactly what I needed. Great store and staff. Overall great experience.

we recently had our 8year old laptop give up the ghost. I went to Staples and spoke with Brandon Fitzpatrick who took the time to run some tests that determined that the screen had stopped working. He carefully laid out my options and then walked me thru the laptops available. After I purchased a new laptop he looked after seting it up and transfering the files from my old computor. After a few days I realized that there were a few questions and some adjustments required. He looked after the issues and I had the computor back later that evening. I cannot say enough about the customer service that Brandon provided me and would recommend the store and Brandon to anyone who asks. To the store management I would say you are very fortunate to have him on your staff.

On 2 occasions today,I tried to buy a laptop, the computer department was severely understaffed for the first week of school. The first time i was there, i waited 15 mins to be acknowledged and no one even said I'll be with you in a moment, so finally i left. About 20 mins later i returned, and once again 15 mins waiting. Finally a sales person came out and i told him the laptop i wanted. 5 more mins to search if any were in stock, good news there were 2. So off he goes to look for them in his locked room, after another 5-10 mins of searching, he emerges with no laptop, by this point I'm done. 1 hour for a laptop that i knew i wanted and still couldn't buy.i finally gave up a left. This is why retail brick and mortar stores are dying.

They're expensive and the staff, including the manager, are not very friendly and just don't seem to want my business

2 staff members from Bowmanville Staples store assisted me with 2 laptops and a printer I had taken in for service. One of these computers has just about seen its best days and is ready for the cyberspace cemetery. They arranged for service work to be completed and with 24 hours I was contacted to say the work was completed. To my satisfaction, both computers are working as expected and I have access to my printer from both machines.. I would highly recommend this store for any service work required to computer/laptop equipment and printers.
