The Clothing Loft - Consignment Shop

I get pretty anxious shopping and they always make me feel at ease. Often I just tell them what I am looking for or what my style is and they help me pull out items to try on. Also I love wearing second hand clothes in good condition, helps the environment and my pocket book.

Have taken clothes into this place in the past and had good experiences, but the most recent encounter means we won’t return. Earlier in the season we dropped off a couple pairs of my husbands barely worn dress shoes. We came back before the time was up on them, and since they hadn’t sold asked to have them back. We felt unliked and unwanted for not leaving them to be donated where??, and were haughtily told without even checking what we’d brought that the season appropriate dress shirts we had brought weren’t wanted. Not going back.

I love this store. I am able to find so many amazing pieces for a good price. I always dreaded clothes shopping, but I enjoy it at the Loft.

COMPLETE SCAM! I recently had about 10 items taken into the store for consignment. I waited my two months and gave the store a call to see how my items were doing and if anything had sold. I was told that nothing had sold so I asked how many items were still available. The girl on the phone let me know there were only 4 items left! So what happened to the others that had not been credited to my account. The girl on the phone let me know she would look into it and call me back. 2 weeks later I have still not received a call. This is a terrible customer experience. Now I wonder how many times they have ripped off other people and also myself.
