The Chinese Laundry Restaurant

Not bad but could be better. Well every restaurant has own receipe. Slightly different then other chinese restaurants in Vancouver. Egg foo yong was great. Chinese style pork thing has strong scent that made my hunger go away . Over all it's okay . Can't judge at the first visit

I just picked up my take out order and i have to say the house special chow mein is the worst I've ever seen!!!! I was so looking forward to chow mein that I've had to order from another restaurant. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!

An absolutely fantastic and very authentic place for szechuan and Cantonese. The authenticity is the best part. From the friendly and very thick accented man who takes your order and cooks your food, to the small, family atmosphere. It really does feel so personable and delicious. Reminds me of my hometown Chinese place. Like home cooked but with a refined flair and high quality ingredients. The menu is not too massive but quite big and everything on there is delicious, albeit overpriced IMO.

This was a the worst Chinese I have ever ordered. The rice tasted like 3 day old minute rice. Egg rolls were way over cooked. War Won Ton Soup the wantons were raw. Chow mien was disgusting tasted slimy. My point is that it wasn't like one dish was bad the whole $80 worth of what we ordered was bad. Please Please PLEASE people save your selves some time and money and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

Disgusting food & service. Arrived at the door cold, I assumed $75 worth of food would easily feed 5 people like it does anywhere else I've ordered from & I didn't think it possible to screw food up that badly. They hung up on me, then my boyfriend when he called back and they said too bad on a refund because everyone else is happy with their food. We had to drive the food to them because the delivery driver didn't feel like coming back. The egg roll had curry in it..seriously?

I put one star because I can't put 0 Stars. Do not order food from the store it is not recommended it's the most disgusting thing the most vile thing I've ever tasted in my life and I have eaten over overdue pasta which does not taste very good and still taste better than this. Overpriced for the quality small portions we paid $10 for a Large wonton soup and had seven wontons in it below will be a picture of us getting shrimp breaded with Hair in it. I recommend for people to go to Hong Kong restaurant at the bottom of McCurdy inside the same parking lot as Mac's

Nasty. We got the #1 and #3 combo's. Container was stuffed full of rice and chow mein. Very small portions of sweet and sour pork and almond chicken.Very greasy. No flavor but salt and grease.My hubby got the runs and very upset stomach. This was our first order here and it will also be our last. Learn to cook please. Your food is horrible.

Food was warm upon pickup. Almond chicken was all grease, sweet & sour pork was dried out and could barely chew it. Fried rice was really the only thing we got that was half decent.

It was the second worst Chinese food I've ever had....and I have low standards when it come to greasy Chinese! We ordered chicken chow mein and it looked like the chicken was cut up deli meat. But the real "treat" was the Ginger beef..... there was very little beef much of what we had was seasoned batter. It was terrible. There were also many " floaties" in our water, I asked if it was lemon water.....the waitress said it was from the ice cubes. I should have left then. Lesson learned.

I've been eating here for over 20 years. They always know by me or my familys orders who is calling and that adds a lovely personal touch. The food is everyhing you want in Chinese dining: lots of options, authenticity, and tasty! Prices have gone up in the last few years, but thats to be expected.
