The greeter/ hostess stand ladies could've had more of a welcoming personality but lacked on the whole greeting. Ambiance and decor felt very romantic in this setting. Velvety oval round booth style seating great for couples or groups dining together. Table style seating for larger parties and a private room available to rent for special occasions. New menu changeover as of Saturday. For cocktails I started with Falling For Fizz that was bubbly with pear and ended with an Espresso Martini with fresh brewed espresso made dark. I had a Berry & Heirloom tomato salad and for my entrée the Blackened Scallops that were both very delicious! Prices are on the higher side as it's a steakhouse but this is fine dining with quality food. Would definitely come back.
I had a 6:15pm reservations. I showed up at 6:09pm and was told that I had to wait until my time. The restaurant was half empty, really? I was greeted and apparently they have no bread, but they did set up plates and knives for it. They could not substitute fries for a small salad, but they did change them for carrots. The carrots were soft and tasty. The steak was burnt on the outside, but we ate the prime steak. The bottom of the potato was burned as well, so they took it off the bill. The garlic was so burnt you could not recognize it well. They asked about a special occasion and I put down my Mom's Birthday as it is her Birthday this week. They did not even acknowledge her birthday. I would not go back given there are so many places to go to that are less money and so much better in quality and service.
My wife and I had a great experience at Chandler last evening. The steak was seasoned perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The sides were great. The service was top notch all around. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Definitely worthy of another visit in the future.
The Chandler Steakhouse is fantastic, great cuts of beef, exquisite sides, craft beer and cocktail menu, decadent desserts to finish your meal. Great decor, gives a retro vibe to the dining. Food was cooked perfectly. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful.
My wife and I go here once a year for our Anniversary. The service is impeccable and exactly what you would expect from a top notch steakhouse. We were seated quickly into a cozy rounded booth for two. We started with a couple drinks. Pear Moscow Mule for my wife and an Old Fashioned for me. Both were good. The mule was very ginger forward. We had some house bread and butter, the carpaccio, and some soup as starters. The carpaccio was melt in your mouth good. I got the French onion soup which looked as good as it tasted. My wife got the lobster bisque which was poured tableside which is an interesting touch to keep the lobster from getting too tough in the hit broth. We both ordered the 18oz bone-in ribeye. Both came out cooked nicely and we're very good. We finished the night with coffee and chocolate cake. It was a great night and I highly recommend it for special occasions. If you can afford to go more often I wouldn't stop you.
The Chandler was one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to, on par with the best in Chicago and Las Vegas. They did a phenomenal job with the ambiance, it never once felt like we were in a casino, or Springfield for that matter. The lobster cake was fantastic with the perfect amount of char; the NY strip was one of the best I've had. I can't recommend this enough for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. I can't wait to return.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I wish I could give more stars because the food was exceptional. We ordered the garlic shrimp for appetizer, I had the salmon and my husband had the 7 oz steak with a blue cheese crust. We ordered the truffle Mac and cheese on the side along with 3 types of sauces for the steak. We are full and satisfied.
The atmosphere was great and the service staff was top notch, professional and friendly. A little disappointed in the food. Steak had a very very heavy char, and the onion soup was a little bland. Mac and cheese and carrot sides were very good as was the oysters.
Very good. Waitress was fantastic. Food was very good sans the loaded potato - not very good. Lacked the loaded part - unique cheese blend with three bits of bacon. No chive or sour cream that I could tell. Portions were well sized. Desert was very good. Really 4.5 stars -Google please add the .5 option! Oh, ambience - spacious and private. Couldn’t over hear others seated near by. Lighting was just right. Seating comfortable. This is a slow meal lasting about two hours but not painfully so. Perfect pace. Absolutely worth the visit and cost.
We had steak and both were delicious! The restaurant is very cozy. The booths are large and elegant! It's worth a trip to eat there!Food: 5/5
