Beautiful view of the river, from the patio out back. Cosy, with about 8-10 tables inside, the cellar, and perhaps same number of tables out back on the patio. Owner and staff are very pleasant and charming. Sometimes, we've waited quite long between courses. The food quality is above average, and selection is decent; specials are always ... well, special. Overall, recommended as one of the best simple, but good, restaurants in Elora.

Dinner was absolutely amazing! We had the prime rib which is always done perfectly, and a delicious chicken entree as well. The deep fried cheesecake is to die for! Excellent service and a beautiful spot for a date night, can't wait for the patio to open!

It's a really nice spot for lunch or dinner, literally a cellar in the winter but they have one of the best patios in the summer where you can enjoy a dissent menu while listening to the river water rushing down the gorge.

It was quiet the day we went (cold, blustery day in the winter) but the food was tasty and staff was very nice. We would like to go back in the summer and enjoy lunch on their patio overlooking the river.
