When visiting Billings I was looking into places to eat, and this location kept popping up on peoples lists. Initially, it looked like it was probably your run of the mill burger spot, but after doing a little research I found this restaurant has a handful of award winning burgers AND it was featured on the “Man vs. Food” shownnLocated downtown, you could almost miss it, if not for the vibrant sign out front. The interior gives diner and nostalgic vibes, but neat vintage decor including a full size “Blockbuster Video” at this point vintage signnnEvery night I went by this places business appeared to be booming, and the night I dined in was no exception. There was one main server on the floor, and she handled seemingly all the patrons with ease. The entire staff were friendly, hospitable, and professional. The service was spot on, and the food/check all came out in a timely mannernnThe menu has a variety of options, but you’re fooling yourself if you’re not going to try one of their burgers. There are classic and signature options, but I went with the award winning “I’m your Huckleberry” burger. Honestly, the flavors worked well together. It was a little sweet to my taste, but I thought it was an ingenious concoctionnnThere are also plenty of sides including fries, sweet potato fries, beer battered onion rings etc. they have beer on tap, non-alcoholic options, and milkshakesnnSome tips:nI would definitely try one of their burgers. This is wha they’re known for, and each one of them sounds, looks… and I assume tastes delicious. I also wish I had tried one of their milkshakes. They have a couple dozen milkshake options to choose from, and each one sounds incredible.nnAlso, parking isn’t great downtown, so, you might have to use metered street parking or find a nearby parking garagennCheers!!
Absolutely stellar burgers. I took my special lady to a lunch date and this didn't disappoint. My black and blue burgers had whole peices of grilled garlic cloves. Yummy. She got bacon and mushroom and said it was juicy and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back, and the oatmeal creme pie shake was worth the calories.
This place is a vibe and being a Miami girl, the joy it gave me to see that they won Sobe WFF burger bash which I have attended almost every year… solidified my decision to go! Solid burgers. I’ll have to try to Jucy Lucy next time. My fave MN food staple!
I flew into Billings for maybe 2 hours total. We received recommendations from the airport and this was the clear winner.nnThere's a parking lot adjacent, but with coin operated meters. I'm not sure when they're active.nnThe atmosphere is very quirky diner scene. It's fun and the employees are friendly.nnThe food is unmatched. I never expected food this good.nnI had the outlaw burger, special for garlic, garlic sauce, and grilled chilies. It was juicy and delicious! One thing to be aware of, if they say garlic, they mean enough for a garlic lover like me. You've been warned.nnThe airport staff recommended the San Francisco style garlic fries with fresh grated Parmesan. I'll second the recommendation. Don't miss these!nnWe were flying so no beer, but I wanted to try one. Maybe next time.nnServers were attentive, kind, and sweet, but not organized. We were in a hurry, so if you're not, you'll never notice.
Starting off with the positive, our server who has worked there for around eight years was amazing and she did an amazing job checking up on us and making sure we had a good experience. The huckleberry shake was delicious, creamy, and not too sweet. The huckleberry burger was good and the arugula made it taste fresh. The vibe and the decor inside gives me a nostalgic feeling of the early 2000s.nnNow for the negative. Our table and a couple other tables waited around an hour for our food to arrive. The fries were bland and there wasn’t enough Cajun seasoning for the amount of fries given. The portions were small given the price you’re paying and my meal was mostly fries and a small burger. Apparently there was something wrong with the ordering machine that caused some orders to be forgotten.nnOverall this restaurant is okay and a great place to eat if you’re visiting Billings for the first time. There is a chance that we might’ve just came in a bad day. To be honest this restaurant is decent but I realistically won’t be coming back.
