I bought a 1/2 slab vanilla cake with strawberries in the centre for my boyfriend’s surprise birthday. It was amazing! The cake was moist and the cream was light. Probably one of the best cakes I’ve had! I also brought in a picture to put on the cake and it turned out so good! Thank you Breadhouse Bakery! I will definitely be back!

I ordered this cake for my friends wedding. She wanted strawberry shortcake and I love this bakeries strawberry shortcake. I've been buying their strawberry shortcake for years. For christenings, birthdays and showers. This cake turned out better than I could ever imagine. The bride and groom absolutely loved it. All the guest said it tasted delicious!!! I had to travel with the cake an hour and a half plus picked it up the day before the wedding. They were so helpful in helping me make sure it was delivered perfectly. Oh and we got a bunch of desserts too and everyone loved them. Thank you so much, we will definitely order again very soon.

The best croissants, sausage rolls, beef curry rolls, fresh pizza dough, lemon loaf, assorted breads, desserts, and other baked goods. A Pickering staple. Our go to for all of the above. Service is top notch too.

Won’t be purchasing any goods from this bakery after seeing they allow people to bring in their dogs which is not only disgusting but also a health code violation. In Ontario, animals except for service animals are not permitted in establishments that sell, handle or prepare food such as bakeries and restaurants.

The Breadhouse bakery is the best bakery ever! My family and I have been coming here for nearly a decade. Everything is freshly made and taste amazing. The staff are all so kind and helpful. I highly recommend coming to this bakery as you will be happy with anything.

Went to this bakery because it has such good reviews picked up a Buttertart with raisin it was a different take but the crust was over done. Then I noticed that several of their products were wrapped in saran wrap which to me is always a warning that they’re not very fresh and they don’t have a lot of turnover. But they’re carrot cake with cream cheese icing was OK. Plus I asked for a napkin and he handed me a rough old piece of paper towel exactly quality. So the products were disappointing but worse than that was the guy who served me he acted like he hated his job I would suggest to the owner manager that this person needs some training he didn’t greet me he acted like he didn’t want to speak to me I was the only customer and he wasn’t interested in serving me it was certainly such a negative experience that I wouldn’t go back.

This bakery is delicious! Butter tarts pictured are my favourite but everything we got was delicious - butter cookies, apple pie cookie apple pie on top of a sugar cookie?!? Whaaaa?!?, egg bread, and the tarts. The worst part about this is how close I live. I’m gonna have to buy new pants.

They allow people to take their dogs in. Not Good. I love animals; however, I would never bring them into any store other than Pet Smart or Pet Valu. Brought this issue up to the the staff and they said it was okay as long as the dog was not jumping around. Seriously?
