The Barrel House

Ate out on the patio which was very nice. Food was delicious. Drinks came in a can which was unexpected. Seemed like they were struggling with staffing, which i guess is pretty typical nowadays. Overall, i would return next time we are in Windsor.Food: 5/5

Amazing food …. Don’t let this place fool you, it’s a gem! We had the chicken sandwich and the French dip both were amazing and honestly the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life. If I lived closer this would be my go to. See you soon … can’t wait!

Amazing! Awesome service and wonderful atmosphere, the bartenders and chefs are all very friendly and sweet. Food is delicious too. Definitely recommend coming here

Service was great. Burger selection is unique and good. This is a pic of their chicken bites appetizer, made fresh with real chicken breast. My sis had the BenyBurger eggs Benedict burger and she really enjoyed it. Atmosphere is nice, it was raining so we couldn't sit on the patio but the inside was cozy. Great beer craft beer selection. Would like to try this place again!

Disappointed, as I travelled 5 hours and chose this place on my stop due to the great reviews. Unfortunately It took 10 minutes to get an actual menu, 20 minutes for the waitress to tell us the kitchen was ‘backed up’ and she would take our order once it settled keep in mind the patio was half full and I counted approximately six people indoors when I walked in…hence why I went outside because it looked more lively there, then sat for another 15 minutes while we watched other peoples orders get taken not to mention I go to the bathroom only to see the same waitress taking an order from the patrons indoors. I hazard to wonder had I ordered a bunch or alcohol, or looked like some of the other customers, would my money be valued a little bit more. I guess we will never know.

I love having dinner at The Barrel House! I come here at least once a month and order something different every time! Cozy atmosphere, food is really good. The house salad is my favourite. Big patio to have drinks and eat in the summer, decent beer selection.

I got completely ignored by the 4 staff that were working that day including the owner or manager. I mentioned I was coming in for lunch and sat at the bar. Held up my menu several times and didn’t even get a look. These folks couldn’t be bothered. Took my $ to Hurricane’s across the street. Never going back.

Everything has been great there the first two times there. Maybe because it was day time and they had only a few customers. Things changed when the pressure was on. The staff became snarly.

My 4th time there, always a quality meal at excellent prices with a good ber selection. Ask for the beans as a side dish.

Great West end restuarant and pub atmosphere. Some of their food recipes seemed to have changed or maybe the cook isn't the same. Was better before. The mussles do not have the same flavour or seasonings. I still enjoy going there. Friendly staff. Great outdoor patio area.
