Bubi's is a televised classic. Been going here for a decade or more. This amazing restaurant has some of the best and most affordable food in the city. Staff is dedicated and hard working on weekends, be patient with them. If you're looking for work, consider them. Let's keep this windsor icon in business. Parking: Large parking shared with the aquatic center. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a fullly dedicated ramp with a rail on the front side of the restaurant. It's way more accessible than most places, the tables are small and it's easy to get a chair around inside.
A landmark restaurant in Windsor Bubi's like many other restaurants has undoubtedly had a tough time since covid hit. We arrived around lunch time on a Saturday and were quickly seated. It took quite awhile to get our food but I'm guessing they are short staffed which is an issue plaguing many restaurants and retail businesses so totally understandable. Although it would have been nice if the appetizer came out before the main as opposed to after. Please note they do not have a kids menu. Nor will they serve you a half portion of something. This strikes me as a bit odd. How hard is it to create a few items at a smaller size like chicken fingers and call it a kids menu? I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was really good except please note it is not a sandwich per se but the meat is on top of a piece of bread. The serving size was pretty generous though so really no need for another piece of bread on top of it I suppose . I recommend the pizza crusts and if you do get them make sure to order "Windsor style" which includes shredded pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese. I would recommend Bubi's just maybe not for young kids and feel bad for these owners and workers as I know they must be struggling. One of the reasons we continue to dine out is to help support local business like this.
Nice and affordable place to have delicious food and some buzz. Near to university of windsor. For vegetarians they have pretty good burger, pizza sticks with cheese and burritos. Drink options are also nice and strong. Staff is so friendly and even beautiful Taste : 8/10, Ambience : 10/10, Service : 9/10, Pricing : 9/10 Updating as of Aug 2022: Food quality is not as before and also seating arrangements changed so not that great ambience as before. Changing 5 stars to 2 stars. Hospitality remains the same, they welcome and greet their customers well, great staff.
Great food!! The burgers were amazing! I also had the garlic parmesan fries which had me contemplating taking an order to go. I wish I could give this place 10 stars!
This past Saturday night, the restaurant only had one table left that fit our group of 5 and James handled the entire busy dinner rush by himself like a champ! As a server myself, I always try to be a super easy customer whenever I go out to eat & especially when my server is clearly slammed. But my family and I were super impressed with him! The food was amazing as always, and we were even gifted a big Bubi’s sauce to take home which was a super sweet gesture. This restaurant is always such a great treat whenever visiting home!
Seems like they're doing some renovations, but it doesn't affect the food or service. Burgers tasted great, and the service was top notch too. Surprisingly they weren't that busy for dinner time on a Sunday. Definitely a good place for a great tasting burgerFood: 5/5
I haven't been to Bubi's in a few years. In the past couple of weeks have stopped in twice. Both times the food and service was very good. The sandwiches and burgers were awesome. Each time they were served quickly and nice and hot. They have a number of different options and choices for lunch and dinner. They also have great looking desserts, but we were too full to try them..maybe next time. There is plenty of parking in the area. Most of it is metered.
I had one of their new burgers with the pineapple, definitely recommend! Large portions for the price. Wonderful service.
I have a pretty long history with this place. The food is great and their menu and aura is unique. Their service varies and at times can be rather underwhelming not anything outrageous but lack of attentiveness.
Amazing! The staff was super friendly from start to finish and went out of their way to interact with the kids in our party. The food was great! Try the parmesan fries! Cute place!
