Friendly, quick and delicious! I wasn't there during a peak time for crowds but seems like a nice place to work from as well. Very convenient, lots of options and friendly staff. Reasonable prices too. Pastries are not baked in house it seems but still pretty tasty. Muffin was $2.65 and cappucino was $4.69 for small a pretty big "small", about a grande size at Starbucks
Amazing service. Affordable prices. Been studying here since it opened. The owners and workers are all do friendly. Offered to bring my food to me to when It was ready when I was studying. They were sold out of my usual iced chai tea latte so as an apology they offered a free muffin. Pic : southwest steak panini
Be careful when ordering the baked goods on this store. We bought these two cakes for to go, Black/White mousse and Tiramisu. We tried it as soon as we got home keep in mind, it took us 10 minutes to get home from this store. The mousse tasted sour and it had that "old" cake taste. It also smelled like it's been sitting out for a while. The tiramisu was worse. It just tasted super sour. I couldn't taste anything else other than sour. I would advice to be very careful when buying the baked goods. The store looks good though.
They deserve a 4.5, but I feel weird rounding up to perfect.. My 2 complaints are hours and there aren't a lot of tables. Food, service, and atmosphere are all pleasing. Internet is working fine, but not many outlets. Coffee & Wrap was 13$, both delicious. Great people watching corner Bathurst/St. Clair W.
I really needed to go to the bathroom, and I use to go to the Starbucks that use to be here. I went to the back, but the washroom said "Customer only" so I ordered a tea, the cheapest custom drink on the menu. I waited and waited for the bathroom to be available while sipping on my boiling tea. It had a bad taste so I resorted to using it to warm my hands. To be clear, I cannot properly judge the food from tea, but I don't think I'll be back. At least the cashier was apologetic.
Staff were helpful enough, though so well-informed about the merchandise. The clerk had to ask twice what the 2 items I was interested in were. She did offer to box the items I chose though. Basically a Starbuck's that closed, reopened now with a different name on the banner. Good location near the subway.
Big fan of this place. Service is excellent and their prices are very fair for food and coffee $4.95 for a breakfast/bagel sandwich. Their coffee, they use Lavazza is flavourful and is brewed fresh. Great place to stop in if you're in the area or a great place to grab something to go if you're about to take the subway or streetcar from St. Clair West. Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for breakfast sandwiches where they substitute lettuce and tomato for meat.
I ordered an Earl Grey and got a Lipton tea...what gives?? And this was after asking what teas they had. Did she make me pay for a speciality tea while only giving me Lipton? The old lady of Indian descent was NOT at all friendly, didn't even look at my beautiful baby and tersely asked if I needed anything else when I started using the Wi-Fi. At least the baked goods look decent.
They make london fogs here. Salads are okay. The sandwiches look good too, havent tried one yet. Its clean and on the corner.Food: 4/5
Nice place to stop for a short lunch or coffee break. Tasty sandwiches, panini and pastries at decent price. Lots of sitting place, friendly service.
