The Ant and The Grasshopper

I frequented this store regularly for about 5 years as there are a lot on kids in our family. This store was sold and is now under new management. the lady who works there is a liar. I was considering buying a dress for my niece but was not going to purchase It as I was not sure it would fit or be suitable for her. I was assured that I had 30 days to bring it back for a refund. 2 and a half weeks later I tried to return the $265 dress as it was not suitable and my neice was not comfortable in it was the feathers on it were flying onto her face. I decided to exchange it for something more comfortable. The lady who works there said I couldn't exchange it now. When I told her she had agreed to a 30 day return she lied and denied ever agreeing to it. Then she actually accused me of bringing it back after using it! I had spent several hundred dollars by then and this was the first time I ever brought anything back and it was in the condition it was sold to me with the same price tag. I met with the new owner of the store who said business was not good and she could not honor the return policy. I don't post reviews often but want buyers to beware. They will lie to make. Sale and then not honor their word. If their business is nit going well it's not going to get better by having people stop coming to their store by lying. There's a lot of others children's boutiques and online stores.
