It’s not a typical Thai express you would expect. Tasteless and super oily. The food there is quite expensive for the portion. I should check the review before I ordered it. General Thai beef that I couldn’t finish. I usually not like give bad review, but this location I would not recommend at all. I saw the owner was replying everyone’s review. However, I think a good restaurant should care their food first then reply people by word. Action is more important than letter.
Be careful with what you are about to order, I ordered a beef dish and this is what I got. Are you able to tell it is beef? It is beef slices wrapped with flour and deep fired. It is 95% flour. When I told them that this is different from the photo menu. She said photos in the menu are just photos, I was speechless. I had to eat it as I paid $13.52 for it. They also force to pay tips. Basically in order to pay with your credit card, you have to press that greasy machine three times before you can actually pay. The first question is how much tips you want to pay ? Think about how many times the same button you have to press have been pressed every day?
This place used to be good, but not anymore. I ordered the basil fried rice and it tasted like soup with all the oil in it. Tilting the plate creates a puddle of grease at the bottom. God knows how much oil I've eaten. Felt disgusted after eating. Picture included.
I asked for thai fried rice without tomatoes but I got with tomatoes. And ordered 2 Tom Yom soups with x spicy, I did received without soup and not what I've ordered. Full of noodles, no salt, no soup at all. Worst service, worse management. Waste of money.
This is a terrible restaurant! I ordered Pas See Ew. They gave me an old one! The oil has dried on the surface and the noodles are stuck together. It looks not fresh at all and should have been put away for a while. They said it was because they waited me for a long time, but I only left 3 minutes. Not fresh! The oil has dried. They serve old meals. Never come!
This Fish basil fried rice that I ordered had less sauce/ flavour. It wasn’t mixed well too. I could see white the rice as seen in the picture.
When you order GENERAL THAI BEEF. You will get Rice and Flour Balls and some veggies. When you spend $13 for the FLOUR BALLS, you better go to TOMHORTONS. When you are paying by debit, they will force you to pay tips at the time too. I fed up with Thai Express.
2 stars today- I was back to Thai Express today for my lunch. I ordered cauli fried rice and a minute made juice combo which came in with the usual 1 pc. of fried vegetable roll. For 22 CAD for a fried rice solo, I did not expect I was only going to get this quality for a fried rice. It was falvorful but it lacks the ingridients personally, and a lot can be done to make it special. Now I am thinking twice of going back. I left with a heavy heart! Price wasnt fair for the quality 5 star- last time- When youre at Thai Express, order Pad Thai noodles and you will never go wrong. Fast and yummy! Noodle texture is good. Its on the sweet side though.
We ordered Pad Thai with tofu. It was too sweet, the tofu was chunky and tough, sprouts were overcooked, zero vegetables. My wife and I split it and couldn't finish it. Oversweet sauce is a common problem in Thai eateries but they set a new standard.
I wish there was zero star. I literally Threw out my food because the rice I bought was bad. I ordered the basil fried rice with shrimp. Firstly the shrimp wasn’t done at all. There were chunks of raw pepper in my food. Also I could see lumps of rice that wasn’t stir fried with the food properly. Also the basil leaf on my food was bad. And I asked for spicy and it wasn’t spicy at all. And I had to throw out my food. I am never going back there. Waste of money and time. The Pacific center does it way better!!! Highly disappointed.
