We came from toronto and were craving for gujarati food and we found the spot. All the food that we order was amaaazzing. Specially the green chutney that was served with khamani, i would recommend that if you could serve along with samosa, dabeli and vada pav as well. The gujarati style chole puri won our heart. The adraki chai was so good that we had to pack it for our trip back to toronto. Thank you so much for serving amazing food. You are doing a good job. P.S - this was our 2nd visit within a span of 18hrs. Vegetarian options: All food are vegetarian and can be done vegan. Parking: Parking is in front of the store.
We were visiting Montréal from New York and so glad we came across this gem. We tried their Ahmedabadi Vada pav, undhiyu aamras puri combo , chole puri combo and sec khamani. We also got ginger tea and butter milk. The taste was spot on. Vada pav absolutely took me back to India and never have I tasted this good a vadapav outside India. Undhiyu puri, aamras was delicious and very fresh. Chole were okay would have been better if they were boiled a bit more. Sev khamani was fab too, would love to have more chutney on the side as it became too dry after a while. Lovely chai and buttermilk felt very homemade. Service was excellent, portion sizes were great and very friendly owners. Will surely visit next time I am there.
One of the best food I ever had in Montreal. The quality and the quantity both were amazing. Must visit not only once but whenever you are passing from there. Beat stop for me now is this restaurant.Food: 5/5
Very good Indian food. The owner/chef Pratikbhai and Utkarshbhai I think I remember the name are really takecare of our group of 10 ppl while visited Montreal few days back. We had bombay vadapau and amdavadi vadapau, TGG special Dabeli and paubhaji...all food good. We also had mango lassi and chhas butter milk. We love the food and service and above all...the smiley faces of the ppl run the business...which is very unusual in indian restaurant. Most of our dish are $10-$14 CAD. There is street parking with $0.25 for 15 min.
TGG is truly a hidden gem we came across on our food hunt for comforting Gujarati food during our trip to Montreal from Calgary. Loved their vadapav and Dabeli. Don’t get me started on their Ringan bharthu and Rotla, hands down the best we’ve had so far in Canada.Food: 5/5
Best place for Vegetarians. Serve many variety specialized in Gujarati cuisine. Also offer some dishes without onions and garlic options. Vegetarian options: Offer some dishes without onions and garlic. Menu contains variety of authentic vegetarian options. Punjabi and Gujarati dishes. Must try Kathiyavadi Baajri Rotla with Garlic Chatni.
Trust me when I say it’s one of the best authentic vegetarian Indian restaurants in Montreal! The food was so good and flavorful. It’s also very reasonable for the price and quantity. Everything was served hot and fresh. Must try!! :Food: 5/5
This is the best place for Gujarati food in Montreal. Real home like food in Canada. If you want to get the feel of real Indian come here. The staff was very friendly and nice. Must come here if you are in Montreal.
TGG is one of the best Indian family run restaurant in Canada if you are craving for home cooked taste. I would recommend their Thali Gujrati and Punjabi but don’t miss some of their individual items such as: Samosa Vada Pav Undhiyu Baingan Bharta Combo with Rotla Chole Puri and Aamras dessert. They are affordable and authentic. I have tasted Gujrati/Rajasthani food from India and TGG matches those tastes without any unnecessary improvisation or gimmick. Try it out.
I had an exceptional experience with TGG's food, where I discovered the authentic flavors of Gujarati cuisine. The Vada Pav, Dabeli, Samosa, and Gujarati Thali were all mouthwatering and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in trying Indian Gujarati cuisine.
