The best Hyderabadi biryani in Montreal. The quantity is way more for the price you are paying. The taste is really good. I felt like I was in Hyderabad.Food: 5/5
I am utterly furious about my recent experience at this restaurant. As a long-term customer, I've witnessed a shocking decline in quality and an outrageous increase in prices. Let's get to the heart of the matter - the biryani I ordered had zero masala in it. It was a bland, tasteless pile of plain rice, and the chicken was practically raw. Not only did they serve me an abysmal dish, but they've also hiked up the price by over $10, all while cutting the portion size in half over the years. It's a blatant money-grabbing tactic that shows complete disrespect for loyal patrons. What infuriates me even more is that when I tried addressing these issues with the management previously, they brushed it off like it was nothing. Their disregard for customer satisfaction is absolutely appalling. I've been a loyal customer for years, but enough is enough. I will NEVER set foot in this restaurant again, and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. This place has lost all credibility and respect.
This was one of my favourite places for various biryani's and many orders placed for family parties however today dinning was disappointing Karivapaku curry leaves biryani that ordered was over done so it has bitter taste though they said, they could replace it, I didn't wasn't to waste food. Place is not ideal or dinning but rather take out. Staff was friendly and all service was good
Best biriyani you could find in Montreal. Very much affordable if you want to share with a family pack. Chicken Dilkush biriyani is my absolute favorite if you are a fan of spicy food. The double masala chicken dum biriyani is also good but this one is not very spicy If you ask for just chicken dum biriyani, it would be more blant with very very less flavor, so ask for double masala Vegetarian options: Less options for vegetarians
I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at Hyderabadi Adda. We ordered one veg biryani and one chicken dum biryani but we were surprised to find that the portion sizes were drastically different. Veg biryani had almost half container as compared to chicken dum biryani This is not only unfair but also shows the poor behavior of the restaurant. It seems that they are not concerned about providing equal and fair service to their customers. I regret to say that I will not be returning to this restaurant.
We ordered for gobi 65 and Nalli Briyani. It was good. It was a Kerala style briyani white basmati rice with briyani curry on top I wasn’t expecting that from a Hyderabad briyani place. But the taste was good. Nalli was big and tasty. I would recommend this place.Recommended dishes
Nalli Biryani was taste...however its not authentic Hyderabadi biryani. 65 Biryani was amazing, and I feel the restaurant has modified the recipe. One thing, curry leaves are literally in everything. I would rate 9.5/10. All the best, and try to introduce authentic Hyderabadi food.
++ taste portion price -- items runs out take out only !! spicy, perfect taste for us mouth may be on fire for many Good chicken 65. Best "Dum Biryani" in Montreal, available only until the quantity lasts. Been there multiple times, 2pm no Biriyani, 930pm no Biriyani. Today only one biriyani plate available. Food is good but today was our last, not worth to waste gas n time for limited menu option and especially main dish not available. Parking: Limited public paid parking on street
Food was okay. It's a bit spicy. Don't go to this place expecting original Hyderabadi Biriyani. This place won't pass on food inspection. See the photos. Place too unclean. Washrooms are worse than Indian public washrooms. There was a table next to us, plates were left around and we asked to clean, they said it's going to take time. There was only one waitress for the entire place. I could see how exhausted that could make one.
There was hair in food.. and when we complained first they were not accepting that it was their mistake. Then after some time they said we will charge you half.. but they charged us almost the full amount.. took 3 dollars extra too.. not a good place to visit. I will not recommend visiting this place because they don’t accept their mistakes easily and say we are just the staff. Do not get overwhelmed with the cleanliness around the place but make sure your food is clean Reply- OMG.. you have the audacity to just be so rude even after the complain despite apologizing about it.. Now, when everything is recorded according to you i need the clip you saw me plucking my own hair and putting it inside the biryani and I assure you that I pay you 10 times the amount of your regular biryani costs. As you said you have some mandatory rules of wearing hair net whereas I saw so many people coming back and forth from the kitchen who were not wearing hair net. And if you saw the recording of us standing outside and discussing the review, i think you don’t have the Pr skills to make the customer happy. You should have called us and asked us the problem. Moreover we did not expect the refund from you we were about to pay the amount and leave but the girl insisted us that we wait and let her do something. And obviously we will ask for the money if she charged us more.
