Texas Roadhouse

The food is good for a chain restaurant but don't come for healthy reasons. It's very country, very Texas. So it delivers I its name. Easy location to get to stop that's nice. Don't go there for a quiet meal though. Good food for the price but not stellar.

Last night, my boyfriend and I went for his birthday. Everything tasted delicious as always, and the host who sat us? Amazing! The servers around us? Great! Polite. Visited their tables. Our server? Awful. She didn't introduce herself. Though I heard her name when she spoke to another table. I believe it was Anabelle. She came to our table with an attitude. Just all around rude. After we got our drinks she took our empty bread basket and walked away, then came back and asked "you didn't want more, did you?" I said "yes please" and we didn't see her for almost 10 minutes. We finally got our food, and we didn't see her until we asked another server to get her for boxes and a bill. I understand it being busy, but it really wasn't. I don't understand why she was so rude. I don't understand why we weren't checked on. And I don't understand why she prebussed our table, and took a plate of my boyfriends food while he was still eating it. All around poor service. Everyone was amazing towards us, except for Anabelle.

I love Texas Roadhouse's prime rib for the smother options(mushrooms and jack cheese) and they deliver on their meat with good and tasty steaks. The only gripe I have is I wish they had a little more variety/originality overall in things you can do with the other meals, burgers and seafood options are pretty uninspired but still good. "if it ain't broke don't fix it" seems to work for them and I'm inclined to agree. Service is almost always great and wait-staff is usually friendly. If you end up with a bad waitress or waiter don't short the establishment for it they are pretty good at weeding them out but it takes a couple times, if you were particularly under serviced let management know and help them out.

The service was great. Waitress did awesome filled our glasses after being half empty. However the food was over cooked. Steak was asked to be cooked at medium we got well done!!! They need new cooks!!!

The service and food was amazing. If you go ask for Casey she's there Friday Saturday and Sunday. She's informative for first timers and great with kids. My granddaughter who is 10 months doesn't let anyone hold her. She went right to Casey and gave her a hug. It made me feel like we are at home with family.
