Charcoal Grill & Rotisserie

Stopped in for the Wednesday BOGO Special. Thought it was a nice chance to try the place. We had a friendly greeting and an upbeat waitress.nEnjoyed everything except for the size and texture of the dark meat rotisserie chicken. It was so small and didn’t look very appetizing. The coleslaw was fair.nThe Rueben Sandwich was packed with Corned Beef and kraut, just needed more dressing and we couldn’t catch our waitress for that after the food was delivered. As you can see from the photos, the marble rye was perfect and toasted to perfection.nFries are good, tots are good- the bread and sweet cinnamon butter is delicious.nOf course the Chicken Dumpling soup is wonderful.nSaw signs for some nice Happy Hour Specials and they have specials almost daily so we are likely to return to this or the other Racine location.

The food was absolutely delicious! Their prices were reasonable considering how fantastic the food and service were. My trans spouse and I felt very comfortable there because not only was the staff friendly, but the other customers were, too. We had a marvelous experience there, and we will definitely be coming back the next time we're in town. I highly recommend this place if you're in the Racine, WI area!!

I love and I am a regular at Charcoal Grill on Washington Ave. They always have great food and service and I always leave a big tip. NOT THIS TIME. I changed locations and I am sorry I did. I went to the one on Douglas Ave. I was served a salad that was compost. Slimy, rotting leaves! I was told both by the server AND THE MANAGER that there was nothing wrong my salad. I was embarrassed for them. I will never go back to Douglas Ave Charcoal Grill again. Go to Washington Ave location instead.

They did not fail us. Perfectly made pizza and ribs. I felt bad because we got there about 40 min before closing. And the people working there were still very good. The fired pizza was crispy, and the ribs had excellent sauce. We intend to go there so we can try many other items on the menu.

We went for lunch. Waitress was very personable and we enjoyed talking to her. Food was very good and came very quickly. The atmosphere was very laidback and pleasant. Overall it was a great experience and we will be coming back!
