From the moment we walked in, the restaurant is beautiful. A vacation peaceful, enjoyable vibe. We were greeted with a smile and the host set a pleasant tone for our evening. The waitress was happy and explained and answered my questions with ease. The food was beautiful, pretty and Delicious. The pace allowed us to enjoy the scenery and enjoy each other’s company. I put in a request for dessert to have an I love you message and came out beyond my expectations so much so that he was pleasantly surprised. The whole experience was exactly what I look for in a restaurant when we travel . This whole experience was more than a 5star . We certainly will be telling all our circle to experience this gem. And we will certainly be returning
We were camping nearby and saw the reviews and description of the food and decided to go to town for a nice dinner. We had a wonderful meal with all local Ingredients! We thoroughly enjoyed the escape from chains and tourist traps! This must be among the very best elevated dining in Jasper. Service was also wonderful.

This is an expensive restaurant. Extra expensive if you are a tourist. But it is definitely NOT worth it. The toast of the bone marrow was burned, the side of the mushrooms tasted burned too and were over fried so zero taste just fried. And the service was terrible. They put a plate in our table, said to keep it mind you this was wrong order, we did not order it so we touched it, it is in front of our face, then someone came and took it to another table for them to eat?! The place is too cold so you will have to wear a jacket tons of people with parkas inside and it is summer the chairs are uncomfortable. Sure this is a mountain town so we did not expect 5 star dine from Paris but the bakery and Syrah’s restaurant in town were good. So, no excuse for this. Bad experience. Waiters are terrible ditzy and forget to bring you spoons, the bill or whatever you ask. You will have to ask 3 times. Awful.
We went with 9 people for Christmas dinner, which is a scene in and of its own. The food was outstanding, I didn’t have to cook or do dishes, and our server Michael kept me in the tastiest and strongest of bevies all evening. His acknowledging glances of recognition of my strength in surviving this holiday family gathering were what could have possibly kept me from flipping the table midway through the meal. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are outstanding and the fact that the bathroom is in the basement and a pee break could buy you a solid ten minutes just in travel time make Terra the perfect family gathering place. Highly recommend!
Last night we enjoy wonderful food at the Terra restaurant. The food was fantastic duck & pork belly, and our server was very accommodating to our toddler who was fixated on having bread for dinner, however the food/ experience was overshadowed by the toxic and negative behaviour of another server who on three separate occasions held conversations with other staff members near our table to publicly trash our server. It made us very uncomfortable, and ruined the atmosphere of dinner. We feel absolutely horrible for our server who undoubtedly had to deal with this person for the rest of her shift and can only imagine what uncomfortable workplace environment she has to deal with. Very unprofessional behaviour and generally made us not want to come back and enjoy more lovely food. Hard to recommend an establishment that allows this type of bullying to happen.
The sign of a great dinner is the ability to reflect and talk about it the next day. We had an excellent dinner at Terra! Our server, Michael was a terrific host and his food recommendations and wine parings were spot on. The atmosphere is casual and a great place to eat after a day on the slopes at Marmot Basin. Our teenagers really enjoyed the pork belly and their special potatoes. They are so good! The cappuccino to end the evening was one of the best I have ever had. We will be back. Thank you.
This was honestly our worst restaurant experience. I dont even know where to start. The dark sky drink taste like cough syrup. I asked our server if the tartare appetizer would be big enough for a main course for one person. The server was condescendant laughing at my question. I then proceed to ask how big was the tartare and he said approximately 6oz and big enough for two. That was NOT the case. It was maximum 2oz. My husband ordered the pork belly and the meat was good but once again it is way overpriced for the portion that you get. You pay for a good presentation and that’s about it. I really wish that the previous reviews would’ve reflect the truth and this is why I took the time to write my first review ever.
We went for breakfast; serving sizes are very small for the price. Very nice dining room and our server was very kind. Looked at the dinner menu -very limited for main courses. Definitely a skip in my opinion; there are better places in Jasper for breakfast and dinner.
The food was good. No complaints, but the staff's professionalism was lacking. For a higher end dining experience in Jasper, I would have expected more professional attitudes and behaviors by their staff. I feel like the manager and the bartender spent the night goofing off while the one server works to cover the three tables that were in the restaurant. I know this is jasper but for a restaurant charging higher end restaurant prices the staff should act accordingly.
