I was just sitting in my car waiting on my wife shopping at another store and noticed this place getting a lot of customers. Curious me decided to check it out, and I'm happy I did. The desserts were really good. If you're ever in Jasper and looking for something sweet, I recommend stopping here. Good customer service as well.
The famous beaver trails left us with unfulfilled expectations. The ones we had were too oily. We tried the hazelnut and the Apple pie, I liked better the apple pie. A lot of hype but not that worth it
Got a classic. Nice stop for a quick, cheap snack, but I don’t think it was that special. It was basically just fried dough with some cinnamon sugar on it. We came 30 minutes before closing but they already closed the entire seating area and the bathrooms as well.
We arrived 15 minutes before they opened and he let us in anyways, which was nice. Ordered the apple and the classic with lemon. Both were very good but a little smaller than we’ve seen elsewhere. Cheap with the napkins, had to go ask twice for more the apple one is messy and we needed more We were wanting a knife to cut it to share between 4 people and there was no cutlery available, he took it in the back and cut it for us which was nice also. overall a decent experience.
Nice place for quick snack bite. I found it however too sweet. When we arrived it was busy and the table we chose was not clean but they were quick to clean upon request. I didn't find that they sell anything special... the poutine is average
Came here after seeing someone’s Google review. Now, I can say it’s definitely worth coming here. Super delicious food and super friendly staff. We ordered Strawberry Cheesecake, Avalanche, The Classic, Apple Pie and Strawberry Lemonade. Everything was perfectly made and tasted like heaven. Kids enjoyed their food very much. Both worker’s had a smile on their faces even though they were quite busy. Wonderful experience. Will be back next year.
I had BeaverTail the day before in Banff and was excited to have it again when I was in Jasper at their location. I was disappointed to see how small their serving was compared to the Banff location. It wasn't busy when we came in, and the tables were not being cleaned. The garbage cans were far from the seating area that customers would often leave their garbage on the table. You also had to ask for napkins at the front for they don't give you any or have any out for easy assess. Still enjoyed my treat however was disappointed at this location.
The store is big enough to accommodate a few families and group of friends. It’s along main avenue so there’s a few street parking. The beaver tail itself was kinda okay. We tried the Lemon n Cinnamon and it tastes good! Although, it’s a bit pricey for just a piece of deep fried flour. But different people have different taste after all, so it’s all good!
Everytime I see a Beavertails, I have to go. If you have never been, try the Killaloe Sunrise. It's simple and delicious.
Came during their business hours as it states they are open from 10:00am - 5:00pm every day, even says that on their door. Came at 2:00pm on a Sunday only to see a sign on the door that they were closed ….. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to this treat as it’s always been one of my favourites. We are only able to get it when we are in the Jasper/Banff area which is not very often. If they’re closed on Sundays business hours should be updated, we weren’t the only disappointed customers outside the establishment. If they’re out of supplies at least state that on their “sign” with an apology, vs a white piece of paper written with a sharpie stuck onto the window of the door.. I’m hoping that they will be open before we leave town tomorrow as I was really excited when I saw they had one in town
