This place is horrible !!! I brought my experience coats and I didn't receive them !! I'm so pissed !

Do not bring your dry cleaning here. I have been a loyal customer for ten years and I brought in a sports coat and winter coat to be dry cleaned this summer. They charged me $38.00. Their prices have gone through the roof and I will never bring dry cleaning here again.

Do Not Bring Your Clothes Here! I brought in three pairs of pants on December 12, 2011 and picked them up on December 16. One of the pants were missing and instead I received a womans shirt, which I promptly returned. They said their was a mix up between me and a John Thomas and he currently has my pants. They said they would call this "John Thomas" to get my pants back. I called the following Monday on December 19, 2011 and they give me this story that he went away for Christmas vacation and that I would get them back when he returned. I called again on Tuesday December 27, 2011 and now their saying he's going to be gone until New Years. These pants were needed for a formal affair. They have had my pants for over 2 weeks and they continue to lie to me about where they are. At this point, I have no choice but to file a lawsuit. I have used many dry cleaners before and never have I had to experience anything like this!

If you don't care about scorched collars and buttons cracked from excessive heat, take your clothes to Ted's Cleaners. Otherwise, I suggest you spend a little extra and use a cleaner where the work is done on site. Ted's is truly one of the worst cleaners in the area and should be avoided.

I began going to Ted's Cleaners (Amity Road location) about a year ago when the place I've been going to for years closed up. There have been many issues I've had with regards to the quality of the service. 1st: the little, bright neon yellow tags they iron on to the lower inside of a shirt to identify customer, etc- if placed properly = no big deal. But I have a few shirts made of a thinner material which show the tag through the front since they were ironed on sideways and clearly shows the outline of those dreaded tags. 2nd: I have had more shirt buttons chipped/damaged/missing from this place than anywhere I've ever been. I wouldn't be surprised if I found out they wash the shirts in a rock grinder. One button up long sleeve shirt I got back was so bad, they had to replace ALL THE BUTTONS!!! And worse, they were a terrible match/color from what was originally on the shirt. Do yourself a favor and go to Biltmore Cleaners, they are literally right down the road (186 Amity Road, Woodbridge), and definitely better quality. All the clothes are washed at the Biltmore location, and done well, with no stupid yellow iron on patches defacing the shirt. Whoever thought of that needs their head checked.
