The best baklava in the west end of Ottawa! This gem is found inside the Silk Road Store on Merivale Road. Everything is baked fresh, hand made and delicious! There are many different types of traditional baklava made here. It is hard to choose a favourite as they are all amazing! The owners are the operators of the business and take pride in their service as well as their products... Oh I almost forgot to mention the bread, I think it is called saj bread. It is often warm, just out of the oven and fabulous.Neither the bread nor the baklava last very long around our home. Thanks for the great eats!

I recently visited this sweet shop and I have to say, it was an absolute delight! The sweets were incredibly fresh and tasted amazing. It's clear that the staff are true professionals and take great care in creating their sweets.

Order the lamb dish and received one of the best lamb meat I have ever had in a while, side dishes were mediocre and I was complemented a kanafeh for dessert. Would for sure come back again, also wonderful staff!
