If your on keto or gluten free diet this place is for you. Tasty choices, with some interesting detox drinks. The Saturday we went service was very slow however the Ruban sandwich made up for that.

We were very disappointed with our experience here today. We ordered take out for four people and arranged 45 minutes ahead of time to pick it up on our work lunch hour. When we arrived it was not ready and we had to wait another twenty minutes. When we questioned why there was a delay we were informed that the cabbage wrap was taking longer. For our trouble we were offered a free FLOW water which was supposed to be included in the combo I ordered. However the water was not included in the order when it was packaged up. The cabbage wrap finally arrived and it was in fact a piece of romaine lettuce with some filling on it. When questioned about this they said they were out of cabbage and they made a "lettuce taco" instead. When asked if the cabbage wrap usually resembles this "lettuce taco" the answer was yes. Please see the photo below of what we received and compare it to the photo of the cabbage wrap on their website. Not even close! Billing was also a nightmare as we were picking up an order for four coworkers and we were never able to get a itemized bill for simplicity. Even though the dining room was full there were customers waiting for pick up and one customer was asked if she could wait while the staff went to shop for the items required to make their meal. Overall this was not enjoyable and very disappointing as it is a great concept. We will not be repeat customers.

Had a great experience at this new Ottawa gem! It has a beautiful patio to enjoy the delicious menu. The service was also incredible! Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Great place if you're on a keto diet! The flavours, the service, and a quaint lil atmosphere made.the visit enjoyable.

Was looking for a "last minute" Keto Birthday cake for out of town guests. Did a search and found Carb Free Cafe! The owner was Amazing, went above and beyond. When I explained I had two Type 1 Diabetic children she kindly offered to send me a list of her other treats and desserts! The Red Velvet cake we had was delicious. And knowing my boys could enjoy it without needing to take insulin...made it even more of a TREAT for them!

Keto friendly pizza and meatballs with zucchini "pasta". Nice service. Meals came in 15 minutes. They I found desserts. We had to take 3 to go for next days. All of them were super delicious. We just finished the last piece. I regret we hundreds kilometres away. Thank you!

We stopped today for lunch, we had a large pizza with Alfredo sauce, regular cheese, chicken and mushrooms. It was awesome! So filling I could only manage to eat one slice lol. The crust was a very pleasant surprise, as I was expecting a very thin crust but it was quite thick and tasty. Having been gluten free for over 4 years now, I've tried a LOT of GF pizza and this was by far the best. We also had decaf frappes that were fab. Just the right level of sweet, serving was very generous too. For dessert we grabbed from chocolate cake to bring home, had them this evening and it was super fluffy and light. The patio is gorgeous and comfy as well. Definitely will return!

We entered the street front of the restaurant and although it was open, it was deserted - weird. We finally figured out we had to go around back to the patio. There was one server and although he was very friendly, it was super slow! We arrived at 1:15 and our order was finally taken at 1:35. I advised we had an appointment at 2 on Dalhousie and asked how long the Pepperoni Bacon pizza would take. The server advised 5 mins because they just had to heat it in the oven. At 1:40 we paid for the pizza to expedite things. The pizza didn’t arrive until 1:55, making us late for our appointment. The server offered a pop for the delay but it never arrived. We ate the pizza while running to our appointment. On a good note, the pizza was good. My 12 year old daughter loved it, said it tasted “ like normal pizza.”

Had the spaghetti and meatballs. Good taste. Portions are too small for the price, had to go bbq a steak after. Also, kind of funny that our 2 servers were not on the Keto diet! But either way, good experience. Would recommend to try, but I would not go again for the value.

Service was very slow and the menu was lacking. There’s definite room for improvement. We had a pizza there and a smoked meat bagel which were ok. Also, there’s a lot of improvement for hygiene. There was a weird smell at the restaurant, couldn’t figure it out. I’m not sure I’d go back but I do hope they do improve as there aren’t options in Ottawa that offer no carb menu items.
