Simply Biscotti

Super cute hidden gem located in an industrial area of Ottawa. It is a little hard to spot and there isn’t a ton of parking but it is well worth the stop. I ordered the brownie, shortbread pastry and cheese scone. Every single item was delicious, perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. I will be back for sure.Food: 5/5

I came across this place by chance. I had a few hours so I randomly found this as I was walking. I usually dont review a place on the first visit but this place stood apart. In such a quite area seeming like no one is around comes this cafe. Inside was so live and lots of people enjoying their mid-day. Different ages were present from students to middle age to elderly from all backgrounds. There was a wide variety of authentic and signature cold sandwiches with a huge variety of pastries and biscottis. The picture from showcase would not be as good as seeing this live. I could not decide what to get as there were so many available options. I had to choose one...I have attached picture. This pastry blew my mind...literally. I wont kid you, this was just heaven in my mouth. Im not a big fan of sweet but I cant wait to try the other ones I intend to try next time. Even their coffee is special brew and not some big name store. The prices are very reasonable and up to par considering our current economics. I will return here as my next favorite cafe and I shall bring people to try this gem.

The good thing about their pastry is that they are bot dry and overcooked, and don’t have a lot of sugar. There is an amazing variety of choices to pleasantly confuse you and invite you to come back yo try the rest. They don’t have infused tea, I wish they did, but you can’t have all, can you? Instead their coffee is delicious. I recommend all of their biscuits but my favourite is honey almond! They have an amazing almond croissant.

Amazing cafe situated in a hidden little plaza. From the wide selection of pastries, to sandwiches to coffee options everyone here can find something they will enjoy. The gluten free biscotti option was so lovely to have as I have many friends and family members who are GF. The lavazza coffee… you can never go wrong with it ! A little taste of Italy in the south of Ottawa

One of the best chocolate cheese cakes I have ever had in Canada. Staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere and comfortable chairs. Coffee was good and my husband loved the lobster tail.Food: 5/5

I love their pastries and some of the employees go out of their ways to serve you but when it comes to the washroom facilities, it leaves a lot to be desired. I already commented to a couple of employees, either fell on deaf ears and/or they just didn't care. It's only one washroom and the staff is usually super busy and it's not cleaned often and I usually go inside the washroom to wash my hands and on several occasions, this stinks and the paper dispenser is hard to get paper from. A simple solution would be to install a small sink outside the washroom and please replace that towel paper dispenser for a better one.

Love this place so much. Amazing cakes and dessert treats. Cakes come in so many different flavors and they offer a wide assortment of cheesecake as well. There is always an option to order in advance if you wish. They do have a lot of cakes and desserts available in the display case daily. The fruit tarts are delicious. Beautiful to look at as well. We have been customers for many years and we look forward to our Christmas cakes, which we have already ordered. We have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work. And we hope you will be in business for many many years. Parking: Easy location to access. We have had no trouble getting in to the bakery with a walker for people who are mobility challenged.

Service was amazing. The owner made sure the bow I asked for, was fixed to look nice. I wasn't a fan of the deserts I bought. Overall okay experience. My friend Dana, suggested we come here, also kinda expensive as well too.Food: 2/5

Friendly little cafe with plenty of dessert, food, and drink selection at a reasonable price! Food: 4.3 / 5 Atmosphere: 4 / 5 Service: 4 / 5 Cleanliness: 4 / 5 Had a smoked salmon bagel, cafe latte, and two biscottis for brunch the other day for a total of $14. The smoked salmon bagel was decent although only had one thin slice of smoked salmon. Luckily the toasted bagel itself was quite thin and light and not the dense kind of bagel, which made it tolerably balanced. The latte tasted good, but nothing special. Biscottis were nice as well they had literally 10+ different flavors! to pair with coffee drinks. Would love to return to try some of their sweeter desserts!

One of the best places to get desert and coffee. Place has a really nice vibe and service was fast and fantastic. Cannoli was really good. I was looking for a place all around ottawa that serves good italian desserts as I really wanted to try out dessert’s from different countries but they don’t disappoint. Some people might find prices to be bit high but inflation and other factors are contributing to it
