Withrow Park

IMO the best park in Toronto. Perfect place to have a picnic or chill on the bleachers and watch people play soccer. Many lovely summer afternoons spent here just enjoying the world. Relaxed environment - clean and no one bothers you. There is a public washroom.

I love coming to this park and i am so glad it's just a 20 min walk away from home. The place is very well maintained, there are beautiful trees all over, play ground for kids, a big wide open field for kids to run around, or for people to chill. There a pretty big dog area as well, for all the dog owners and dog lovers to come around. I personally love to come here on days off just to look at dogs interacting. This park gives me a sense of peace, everyone seems to enjoy their time here. One of the best community parks in East York area. Definetly worth a visit, especially now with all the foliage.

I highly recommend this park and the dog park. I am a dog walker in this area. It's an absolute pleasure to go here. The dogs I work with love this place so much. I do plan to come in the summer with my own dogs. Truly it's worth it to go here, there are so ma y friendly people and dogs. Never have issues at this park. Their is also a skating rink and a great deal of grass land to play with children as well. Winter time there is a small hill there to go sledding on. This place is great for family's with children and family's with furry children Playground: Lots of places to play ball, parks for kids as well. Skate rink Very family friendly Restrooms: There are washrooms here, I find they are fairly clean Dog-friendliness: Absolutely dog friendly. Have a dog park all fenced in. I love this market so much, not in my neighborhood but it's worth making the trip out there on Saturdays in the spring, summer and fall. They use reusable programs like Muuse.ca too

Love this park! It has a little bit of everything in a lovely and friendly neighbourhood, just a stone's throw from the Danforth. There's a designated playground for toddlers which has a supervised splash pad during the summer. This is also the location for the Withrow Farmers Market during the summer as well. In the winter, there's an ice hockey rink and a little toboggan hill that the little ones enjoy.

Withrow park- Withrow park is a very convenient, large, and life full park, there are always people walking dogs or kids playing and it has so many things that you can do such as a fire pit, skating rink, basketball court, multiple washroom buildings, a clubhouse, two playgrounds a third hidden behind two baseball diamonds, a soccer field, open fields, and more, it's a great community and you can walk up less than five minutes to the Danforth where many stores and restaurants are. This park is great to spend a day with your family or hangout with your friends, this park as I said Is very big and will not disappoint you, I recommend visiting it if you are in the area and while you are there you might as well goto Riverdale Park as well just west of Withrow.

Great park for walking with children, dogs and friends. There is an ice arena. located conveniently near the subway. There is a dog walking area. Beautiful nature.

Beautiful large park in the city. Great use of public spending, some of the older buildings are reminiscent of Central Park in NYC.

Generally good dogs and owners. Fence is a bit low in places so you might just want to be aware if your pup has a tendency to go after squirrels. Love that theres trees and a hill to make the park a little more interesting. Park is big enough that if its busy, everyone can spread out.

So much to do at this park! Everything from soccer to ball hockey and baseball! There is an off leash dog park and lots of playground equipment! Public washrooms/changerooms also on site and tons of green space as well!
